A quote from Rom about paying for Chelsea: "I dreamed to play here since I was 10 years old. It was just what I was searching for," he said at the time.

"I used to watch Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink scoring goals and remember one against Manchester United, the volley at Old Trafford, and I decided I wanted to support this team."

He even mentions a goal against you lot. He hates you.

Robbie Keane in 2008

"I would specifically like to thank [Tottenham] chairman Daniel Levy for understanding, that, as a fan, joining Liverpool is a lifelong dream of mine and one I couldn't let pass me by."

Robbie Keane in 2010

"It's no secret over the years I've been a Celtic fan… I always wanted to play for Celtic."

I think now it's in the player's hands but Chelsea may offer few more dollars? Then it will be an issue. Hope we finish this now.

Because he wanted to play as a first choice striker. Mourinho didn't rate him as much and Lukaku left.
On the other hand, he still highly respects Mourinho in his own words and I'm sure would love to play for him again.

Fantastic to great already. Wonder how much further this will regress.

I'd rather be Alexander the Great to be honest. Alexander the Fantastic wears his underpants on the outside.

What the feck is going on? Shambles

I reckon his first touch has improved from this.

Please tell me these are rare occasions? I've obviously seen 'plenty' of him but it's usually highlights.
Last thing this team needs is another person who can't keep the ball when playing at a little pace.

Why are they saying United have offered now when they said it was accepted yesterday? What the feck are they doing?

Do people think paying agents fees is optional?

If Chelsea won't pay his agent's
I can't prove it obviously. I just assumed it had been accepted otherwise why the hell are we even arguing about this whole affair?

Matching a bid and having a bid accepted are two different things.

It's safe to say that I never intended to be in the know and now as it turns out, my friend is not a very good source anymore. Feels great to be back watching the transfer window and not knowing shit.

I am glad you have understood this. Sources privy to news can't always guarantee things and it's best to not blurt out info as guaranteed facts as it can bite you in the back. Not that I ever believed you but I can understand if you got caught up into it.

Would be a nightmare if Chelsea swooped in for Lukaku now, Perez would demand £150m for Morata.

Mate, half of Liverpool's biggest legends were Evertonians growing up. Means feck all.

What if this is all a smokescreen just to help out EFC sell Lukaku at a great price, and in return they will take Rooney off our hands?

Ugh now I actually wanted Lukaku...

Just saying but if you start briefing all the press about a transfer make sure you wrap up all the details and have the player signed up before it gets hijacked and you end up with cake on your face.

Thing is...if Chelsea wanted him so much.....believing he wanted to go to them....why didn't they make a bid earlier? Just seems a bit panicky at the last minute.....

And not paying an agents fees mean you don't sign a player.

See Hazard saga.

We briefed that we had an offer accepted by Everton.

Chelsea brief they have "matched" our offer.

Big difference.

If this deal isn't announced before a Sunday then it won't get done. It's been a pretty poor showing this summer from Ed to be honest.

On the other hand, he still highly respects Mourinho in his own words and I'm sure would love to play for him again.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind. I'm sure he'd be just as excited to play for Conte. I'm sure he'd love the idea to join his boyhood club more. But raiola is involved so he's still firmly in our control.

Chelsea can't "swoop in" when United are the ones who swooped in and hijacked Lukaku.

Not our fault they thought they'd be the only bidders and eventually get him at cheaper than what Everton was wanting. And now they're in desperation/excuse mode caught with their pants on the ground. You snooze you lose:devil::lol:

Always defended PB, but feck me; he's like that drunken mate in the pub who just won't shut the feck up.

Go home, get some sleep, already!

Can't be.

I wouldn't like to be the person who leaked the story about our bid.

If he goes to Chelsea we look idiots.

Got what wrong. You're lost. Think you need 5.

You made out Lukaku won't pick United due to Mourinho selling him.

You have no idea about their relationship as if you did you wouldn't have posted such nonsense. You got it wrong and jumped to conclusions.
