He’s already thinking of leaving in his second game in his first full season at United? What was he on about, can anyone fill me in? I thought he started well here and even scored two goals on his debut under Jose
Put that Lukaku in any United side from 92 - 2013 and he'd do well.
A team full of unforgiving winners and Lukaku, who has a big mouth but a shit mentality, would have been a disaster for the latter.

Jesus wept. Imagine the '99 final with Lukaku up front...Put that Lukaku in any United side from 92 - 2013 and he'd do well.
Like many players, he struggled to perform in a team that lacks any identity.
Keane would fire balls at Lukaku and berate him everytime that he failed to control it which would make everyone else laugh, SAF included.

I saw a recent clip from Ronaldo training in Juve, where he fecked up his first touch, he got so angry that everytime the ball boy gave him a ball he kicked out of the stadium in anger 3 times. If that was lukkaku it would be like a infinite loop.
From I have heard about Henry, he would lose his shit everytime anyone would miss a pass or a first touch, himself included. And if I'm not mistaken it was reported that some players were relieved when he left Arsenal.
That’s not too far fetched. It’s easier to adopt a strong winner’s mentality when you’re around winners.Different era.
As I said above, Sheringham, Yorke were often criticised like Lukaku but that was in the good old days where people seemed to forget the negatives.
Put Lukaku in a United team with a plan and purpose and he'd have done better. On a similar note, if social media had been around 20 years ago Yorke would be slated for being too busy sha**ing Katie Price and not building on his successful first season.
Hahaha.. Nevermind the fans, he would have been slaughtered by keano himself on the pitch for all the pointing and later SAF in the dressing room. Probably get slapped by our bench warmers as well for all the stone wall first touches.Put that Lukaku in any United side from 92 - 2013 and he'd do well.

Nah, we'd definitely twat them. I'd fancy us against against any team that isn't Premier League relegation fodder.Nice idea on paper, in practice I don't see that two-legged affair ending well for Ole.
More likely we'd have to see the infuriating sight of Lukaku shirtless 'applauding' our fans with a smirk.
Different era.

So true. You must be so angry you're not in CLNah, we'd definitely twat them. I'd fancy us against against any team that isn't Premier League relegation fodder.

Very, and oppo fans laughing at us doesn't helpSo true. You must be so angry you're not in CL
You can't be serious? He is probably a top 5-10 central forward in the world based on his form for Inter and Belgium.
We do badly miss him even if it didn't work for him here.
People calling him crap has no clue about football or just want to overreact for the sake of it.
We got so lucky that Conte wanted the pie eater. If it wasn’t for Inter he would be out on loan somewhere and we would be consuming his wages, no one else would pay more than 40 million for him, he would be looking at a club like West Ham.
whilst that might seem outrageous as first...
. no one else in Italy bar Juve could afford him (he really was never going there, despite reports). Can you imagine Ronaldo and Lukuku!!
. Bayern, Dortmund could afford him - both wouldn’t want him, his not good enough for them. No one else in Germany.
. PGS - don’t make me laugh! No one else in France.
. Real, Barca, A Madrid - see above.
. no top club in the PL. Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, City (that would have been brilliant), Liverpool (I would pay to see him there). West Ham or Everton would take him, and that would be his level.
His choices were slim, unlike him.
He’s the player version of David Moyes, struck gold getting a transfer to Utd, shown to be completely out of his depth, got rid, and now can’t shut up about the club.
average striker, inflated ego, poor professional (fat and unfit), big mouth. Players don’t like him, fans don’t like him - Rom that’s your legacy. See you in Turkey in 2 years.
He knows what he wants. I wouldn't like it here either if nobody respects you. Turns out he made the right choice by leaving the club.
We Utd fans are still in the make believe world that we actually matter as a football club. So we turn to bullying players when they have a poor game, we bully players who don't have the "utd dna" in their blood. Turns out we don't have any dna at all, since the club was bought by the Americans we're nothing but a business. Football doesn't matter and this story has surfaced several times the past year so it must hold truth.
It's not bad luck when top players turn to nobodies once they wear the Utd shirt, once they move on their true qualities shine (Di Maria, Falcao, Lukaku, Depay, Smalling), it's not because they have a poor attitude or that they are snowflakes, it's lack of structure, knowledge and arrogance by the board and the fans alike. I once criticized all these players myself, the past year I learned I was doing it wrong and I won't be making that mistake no more.
I don't like Mourinho's brand of football and he looks unsympathetic but Mourinho was right, his second place with utd was perhaps his biggest achievement. I therefore must apologize to him as I was wrong (yet again).
Let's all not make the same mistakes again and let's support the manager and the players for once instead of labelling them as spineless no good pieces of shit.
Fun scoring in Italy? He didn't score in 3 straight matches before scoring vs a poor Genoa side and was the main reason why they lost to Barca B team. In the span of a week he fecked up numerous chances vs Roma, Fiorentina and Barca.
And it's funny how his supporters on here flock into this thread as soon as he scores but when he's shite they're nowhere to be seen.
He had 1 season where he scored over 20 goals in the league. He averaged 13.6 goals per seasonThis is nonsense. If he was so average he wouldn't score over 100PL goals, have multiple seasons with 20 goals or be the top scorer of his country which has been consistently in the top 5 FIFA ranked footballing national teams. Also you don't know how teams think so don't assume things.
..and you sound like a delusional fan boy who is somehow brushing under the carpet the absolutely terrible performances that we witnessed first hand over two years whilst at this club. He is absolutely bang average and any Man Utd fan saying otherwise either didn't watch our games or is a fool. You sound very bitter. He is SCORING and WINNING GAMES and WINNING POINTS for his team.
Yeh but this doesn't matter because his all round game is excellent...oh waitHe had 1 season where he scored over 20 goals in the league. He averaged 13.6 goals per season
Thats still a big ifYou sound very bitter. He is SCORING and WINNING GAMES and WINNING POINTS for his team.

He's worse than average at nearly everything. He must be good at something to get those goals but I still don't know what it is. It must be positioning/movement in the box in some of his games, because in many he was hidden behind a defender. It's not finishing, which varied from mad shit to average. This is nonsense. No clue about football?? Do you watch lukacku play in a united shirt live??? And the spelling mistake in his name, was intentional!!!He is probably a top 5-10 central forward in the world based on his form for Inter and Belgium.
