Did that come out somewhere? Link?
Have you not seen the video of him shoving chips down his mouth like some bully was about to come over and take his food of him, it was disgusting.

I'm not exactly surprised, I've been calling him out for a while for being fat , pure fat, not bulked up. but no I haven't seen thisHave you not seen the video of him shoving chips down his mouth like some bully was about to come over and take his food of him, it was disgusting.
Same here. I thought he'd have a bag of chips. Nope. Not quiteI didn't think it'd be that bad but that is fecking gross.

"Coming here was the right move, in a good dressing room, where the manager wants winners who can really help the team."
We definitely are mentally soft, that is true.
I remember reading about Usain Bolt having a McDonalds every day when he was at the Olympics and if Lukaku's 20 chips (and some red meat) leaves you "shaking", don't Google what Michael Phelps use to eat!
I really think some of you lot are reaching for any old bollocks to get mad at with Lukaku.
Well Pique was shocked with our players diet when he was here. Apparently it was burgers and chips!
I completely agree with you, you're spot on about him. Of course he's going to want to make himself look good & pin the blame on the club in general, but even amongst the spin, i think there's some truth in what he says. How many times recently have you seen us react to adversity positively recently? I can't remember many times. It's not unreasonable to say that is our main weakness at the minute. He's the last person that should be talking about mental softness. One of the softest, most thin skinned cnuts out there. Bottom line is that he was a failure at Man Utd, and we are lucky to get our money back. If he had played well, he'd still be here, simple as. The club invested a lot in him. They didn't make him gain all that weight, and they didn't make him have shit fitness. People who succeed at the very top have to be self motivated. Lukaku has enough about him to play top level professional football, and if he'd had a better attitude, more mental toughness, and more self discipline and drive, he maybe could've been an elite striker. But he doesn't, and so he isn't. You will never hear real winners talk like this. Top professionals look at themselves for their failures. People who lack that cutting edge, or are insecure, blame everyone else around them. Lukaku is both.

About him though, I've never seen such a large guy be so bad with his back to goal as him. Even timing his jumps, he was abysmal at it. There's also no excuse for the shape he was in last season. He didn't even resemble a pro footballer at times last season. It was absurd. Which was weird considering he had a good (relatively) 1st season with us. I was looking forward to his 2nd season at the time. Then his skeptical 'grown-ass man' comments surfaced and i started to look at him differently since. During this year, his mask has slipped a lot. It's also aggravating to see him apparently shedding the weight in a few weeks now he's at Inter. What was stopping him from doing that here this past year? That reflects poorly on him for sure.

I agree he was political about it. But he never apologised for his summer actions though. His data leak was unprofessional. He did talked pretty well and in respectful manner about the club and Ole. I don't even think the quote you mentioned is meant towards United or anything, but just praising Conte.
Those examples illustrate quite perfectly my issue with Lukuku's eating:
Phelps and Bolt were at the top of their game. Smoking pot, eating junk never visibly affected their performance. Certainly not to the casual viewer.
Lukuku showed up double digits kilos overweight. And then was noticeably unfit on the pitch during matches, getting winded after just a few sprints. Compare that with his younger years especially.
So keeping in mind that we're all human and deserve a little break here and there, my expectation is do what you want until it's a problem. Rooney had his drunken debacles but I can't really recall him winded and unable to finish a match. In contrast Ronaldhinos whore nights were fine until they weren't and he became overweight and lost the spark, leaving Barca soon after . Lukuku's performances have similarly suffered in dramatic way from eating like a fat feck. He then went on to deny the problem saying he was 'bulking'. That to me is well worthy of a disapproving head, fist and d*ck shaking.
I mean, by all means, if Lukaku wants to live life a fat has-been fatty let him do so. To each his own. I just don't want that kind of player at United.

I could be wrong, maybe i'm taking it out of context but ''Coming here was the right move, in a good dressing room, where the manager wants winners who can really help the team. '' as in, he means he was pushed out as Ole doesn't value 'winners' in the team. I take that as a sly dig to Ole and the team.
Yeah, he does seem a massive fan of Conte. Maybe it was a poor choice of words who knows. I tried to find the comments in the video but they weren't in there strangely.I think he's just praising Conte, but yeah I won't disagree it's worded in a way anyone can take it as a dig aimed towards us.
Oh jeez yeah that's a gemWho has got the picture (don’t know how to upload from my dog) or who has seen the picture of him side by side at everton and united.
It’s ridiculous
Thank you @fergiesarmy1 for bringing the existence of this video to my attention.
WOW. It's incredible watching a professional scarf down a plate of chips (french fries) covered in what looks like either mayonnaise or some other sort of heavy cream sauce and a good pound of red meat next to it.
I've gone from having heard stories of the likes of Giggs giving up buttering his feckin toast to seeing this Lukaku do his dump truck impersonation. How in the world did this get allowed by the national team? Was it after their tournament ended? Even if he were on vacation, id have made fun of him for it. Christ, he's eating french fries by the bunch with a fork!
I'm still shaking from what I've seen. What an unprofessional clown. All talk. And fat.
I bet he said the same when he came to us."Coming here was the right move, in a good dressing room, where the manager wants winners who can really help the team."

His comparison since his first year is big enough. His first season here was successful. But his second season was a large yikes. I don't think anyone saw that coming.Who has got the picture (don’t know how to upload from my dog) or who has seen the picture of him side by side at everton and united.

Professional athlete eating fries. Oh God. Whatever next. Won't someone think of the children?
Do you know how many calories a guy like Lukaku will burn in a day? He can afford to occasionally have some chips. I think you have a big misconception of how "clean" the typical footballer will eat, and also how "clean" they actually need to eat. It's really not uncommon for athletes after an event like a match to get in some quick and easy nutrients from what you would consider to be unhealthy foods, and the obsession with nutrition is a relatively recent phenomenon.

This is him now at Inter. You can see in the pictures & videos of him at Inter he's slimmed down already.
A lean, in-shape Lukaku is worth 70/80 million. Of the three photos, one of them is clearly a fat man that has no business eating more chips if he thinks he can afford a cheat meal.
Quoted myself from above since it's the same answer.
Then you missed the point completely. It's him eating like a pig back when he came back as plump as an uncooked roast. If that were him at a buffet during his Everton or WBrom days a fit professional, no issues at all. But there he is, pigging out and then talking about bulking like he was in the gym extra days turning up overweight to UnitedMy point is, the video that seemed to irk you so much is the kind of thing that I am sure you could find every player doing at points throughout the season. He had a plate of fries and you're acting like it was disgraceful because Giggs apparently ate plain toast. I recently saw a clip of Sterling wolfing down a huge beef burger when he got the award for the Football Writers PoTY, which was at the height of our title run-in. I also think Lukaku's supposed weight excess has been hugely exaggerated.
Did he get criticised for feasting while 99% of Britons are living in food banks?I recently saw a clip of Sterling wolfing down a huge beef burger

Somewhere in the region of an extra 2kg and suddenly he became butterbean to sections of our fans.
You don't remember how one game last season, i can't remember which one, he played hard for the first 20 mins and then was almost keeled over afterwards, rendering him completely useless for the rest of the match?Somewhere in the region of an extra 2kg and suddenly he became butterbean to sections of our fans.
He wasn't fit enough to last the full match last season. He was regularly done after 20 mins. His balance & co-ordination was also shot to pieces, so obviously the extra kg's impacted him massively. He was nothing like that when he first joined. His figure was hardly at the point that you'd expect it to have a noticeable influence on his performances.
