There's a couple of genuinely pathetic homophobes I have on my ignore list and Giflord is nowhere near as bad, not even remotely close.
I feel a bit bad about him getting called out for his obsession last night. Everyone needs a hobby. Hating a player like Lukaku (I get it with someone like Suarez or Terry) is a new one on me though.
The problem with Lukaku is that he's a £100m player and when you pay that money you want your player to score from half a chance in big games, including against City at the weekend. He more than likely doesnt though. Its a recurring theme.
No doubt he'll go on a scoring run now against Southampton, Brentford and Norwich and everything will be fine again until the next big game comes up.

That one where he makes the run and the ball hits his head is prime Lukaku, I don’t know why Chelsea thought they were signing a beast!
Tbf Tuchel is put into a bit of a bind here, it’s all well and good saying he can put him on the bench in big games, but even if the player himself is fine with that (he isn’t, Lukaku needs to be pampered a bit), the press will absolutely zero in on that and makes it very uncomfortable, every loss/draw will be ‘Lukaku would’ve made a difference’ and every win will be accompanied with ‘why can’t Lukaku score in big games’.
The only out he has is if Werner magically start finding the target consistently, then he can do it with the pretense of rotation and competition. Alas, it’s not the case.

He used to post videos even when Lukaku was ManUtd player, so I don't expect him to stop that.
Also I didn't understand why Everton fans didn't like Lukaku and his attitude (going by their forum), year later I understood why.
I am surprised that Chelsea fans haven't picked up yet that Lukaku is their biggest problem. Last season they had really good movement in their forward line and were creating chances (but just not finishing them.) Now with Lukaku they're completely static as he doesn't shift the CB's about because he is so flat footed which means the other two cannot dart around so much as he'll be played offside as he'll break the line.
We're definitely less creative than we were with Werner last season. That is undeniable. When we go back to the old Chelsea thread from last season, I expressed a concern that since the #9 is a part of the chance creation process, and we can't just take out Werner, plug in a #9 and expect the chance creation to remain unimpacted. If the #9 can finish his chances at much higher rate than Werner was, which should be easy, then that could help offset the fewer chances we're creating. That's the hope anyway.

Which is why Lukaku will always be a problem at a top club. A problem I’m glad we don’t have to deal with anymore. The best transfer deal Ole did, even better than Bruno, was getting rid of Lukaku without hesitation or trying to force him in.
Mr. Anonymous in the big games, he is definitely a flat track bully but he will score goals - just not many in the big games or in decisive moments.
To be fair even on those gifs his runs are quite good. He's certainly way better than he was with us — although that still doesn't automatically make him a world-class player.
I wonder if Tuchel would have the balls to drop Lukaku for big games while taking advantage of his goalscoring against the minions. Although this probably won't be a good decision considering that Lukaku is one of the most mentally fragile players out there.

I don’t think Chelsea have enough attacking creativity in their team full stop. Said that a few weeks ago and a Chelsea fan on here got mad at me.
Let's be honest, every rival fan was delighted they got Lukaku.

He is not their biggest problem. And this is why I said Lukaku is a scapegoat.
A quality team like theirs should be creating more chances. They should not be dependent on an ultra clinical striker (which does not exist and is certainly not Lukaku) to win games. But again when you play a back 5 and a workman 3 in midfield, you put too much pressure on your 2 attackers to carry the attack. That is not workable in the long term, as Conte and Mourinho have found out at Chelsea. Good thing is that for Chelsea, they don't care about the long term.

You simply can't expect a team to always create a lot of chances against another top team mate. That's why a clinical finisher is always very very important for a top team in a big match.

There is no denying that the Lukaku we see now at Chelsea is a fitter, leaner and improved version of the one we sold. Given that United Lukaku even at his worst had almost 20 goals to his name, he will definitely make a difference for a far better Chelsea side.
However, his basic weaknesses of poor first touch, big game droughts and fragile mentality still remain. Unless he improves on them, he will always remain a tier below the top center forwards. And he will blame everyone and everything to avoid accepting that, just like he did with us here.

I this is quite pertinent with Lukaku, I feel sometimes he brings upon himself. All this talk of being one of the best strikers in the world etc, he puts too much pressure on himself and his fragile ego can't handle it.

You've also got Salah, Vardy and Son in the bottom half of that.
None of them are being lazy, it's how they're told to play to get the most out of them.
Having Ronaldo, Lukaku or Salah chasing shit down like Kante would be a monumental waste of their energy.

But Vardy used to chase everything down before he got older and the other two are wide forwards? Ronaldo isn’t even tactical since we have Cavani who presses like a mad man from the front. The number 9s do generally press at higher rate than wide forwards.
I’m not even having a go at Lukaku but I was told how much fitter he was and how he got his diet sorted and it turns out he doesn’t even do much without the ball. Plus it’s not as if you’re a counter attacking side with your back 3 so he doesn’t even run that much with the ball with how methodical you are when you attack.
It’s also striking how the every top team must press from the top tactical assessments looks to be bullshit
