Bad miss. I think he's suffering with confidence issues at the moment which is a shame given his great start. I get the impression he's letting his lack of goals in recent weeks get to him and he's often taking shots on when there's better options.

He simply is not a good enough striker for us. Reason I think it is because he doesn't have the technical ability that a big striker needs. He has scored a lot of headers and 2-3 yards goals for us but he just simply won't be a good long term solution for us, but only maybe a second striker. We will need to go back to the transfer market next summer surely. He can't hold the ball up and now he had an open goal but simply waited for the ball to come to his feet so he could score. A top striker would have put that away easily
I'd prefer rashford to become a tank and play as the player Lukaku is - I reckon he could do it aswell. A beastly rashford would be nice to see.

His link up play definitely isn't underrated. Not when you compare it to his contemporaries like Kane. In this match alone, in comparative circumstances, Pogba has held up the ball more times successfully and more consistently; that Lukaku has effectively done it prior to contributing to a goal shouldn't obscure how people analyse Lukaku in general.
