Whoever produces MUTV needs to be sacked.
If the forward players + the wingers are on song, have possession and aren't all other the place, it could work. Our style of play this year didn't really allow us to have just one CM sitting back, but with more energy and pressing higher up on the field, it could work. Add to that the fact that the back three (DdG + Vidic and Ferdinand) should provide more stability this time around, and I don't think it's that much of a gamble against lesser teams at first. Carrick has a very good tactical sense and with his positioning manages to slow down attacks for the opposition, enabling our team to regain shape. It could work, and it would be very exciting upfront.
And, on a side note, opposition teams would be shitting themselves before the game seeing that lineup.
