So where does he stand alongside others of his generation? I'd have him alongside Figo, Del Piero, just behind Zidane, Ronaldo and Baggio.
The three three strongest memories I have of him are against United in 1998, England in 2002 and the overriding one is easily him holding his head when the ball clearly hit his leg...what a joke that was.
