Rio Olympics 2016

Well at least he apologized to the Brazilian fans of the sport...is that an error in the report or did he just forget which country he was representing?
I dont imagine there were many Lebanese Judo fans in the crowd!

Just had a little boob slip in the women's synchronised diving. And I mean little.

I love how after a few hours of watching any given event I feel qualified to discuss it like I know what I'm on about.

The women's American gymnastics team are on another level

Simone Biles what an athlete

So...I started the day with the final round of Eventing, and cooked dinner whilst trying to follow both the women's 10m diving final and the gymnastics. The Olympics is a great time. :)

Now just catching up on the highlights from GB's 9-1 win over Brazil in the hockey.

ETA: They'll be adding some piranha to that green pool tomorrow.

Serena Williams out in straight sets. Been a number of shocks in the tennis so far...not a good tournament at all for the Williams sisters either.

Christ, the physique of the weightlifters is absurd.

Feck yes, Pieters with a new national record and goes to the final as sixth seed, on the 100m free no less

PHELPS! Most likely the best race of this year's swimming, unreal tension and ending.

What a boss he is.

The women's American gymnastics team are on another level

Simone Biles what an athlete

Was sitting in the livingroom watching the olympics with my mother, and the gymnastics were on, which is a sport i never pay any attention to.
But damn, the americans were ridicolous!
Couldn't stop watching.
Have no idea how the point system is, but could easily see the were atleast a level over everyone else.
Biles is fantastic.... And i'd easily let their team captain have me, twice!

What's crazy to me is each one individually could be the top performer in any other nation. They're amazing!

I think the points system is based on level of difficulty X 10. So if you perform a 5.8 difficult routine, the most amount of points you can get is 15.8 and reductions are made from there.

I have to go back and watch them again, I'm still in awe
