Right Winger... Who do we go for?

Or just play without wingers and use a diamond or a 3-5-2, which is similar to a 4-4-2 with a diamond. Would be beneficial for Sanchez as well, as he would be closer to goal, which he needs to be nowadays.

3-5-2 is out of equation. No way we can play with three CB whole season.

We need an upgrade on RW and number 10. Fekir is someone who can do both.

Sell Mata, use Fekir and Lingard as our number 10/RW options.

Pereira
Fred Pogba
Fekir
Lukaku Sanchez/Martial.

I'm suggesting it in case we sign a new CB or 2, which could happen.

I agree, if we bought Fekir he'd be ideal in behind any combination of two strikers in a 3-5-2 if of course we added a CB or two to faciliatate that formation..

Let's hope we take a look at Thauvin. He seems to be scoring goals in every other match playing for RW. I haven't seen him play that much but his goal scoring record as a winger is great.

I agree with that as well, but it would be very hard for jose to convince him with his methods. Also We got Woodwards Nose in between.

We should go all out for Erikson on a decent price. Beat other clubs to him.

Is he actually a right winger? Whenever I've seen his goals he seems to be around the middle..although that would make sense because there's where people shoot

Salah makes an absolute killing in Klopp's system, it's tailor made for players like him get on the end of chances. I reckon he'd look half the player at United.

He's already half the player when it's not a system exactly suited to his style. Exactly the kind of player we don't need. Not that it would happen anyway. Liverpool's whole thing is appealing to their fanbase as much as possible.

I reckon Pulisic will be our next RW. From a marketing and talent perspective, it makes a lot of sense.

An American playing at the biggest English club at a time the PL is gaining popularity in the US is Woody's wet dream.

Not a traditional winger, like Bale or Willian but he can play all across front line with his understanding of the game and deadly movement. Has got sweet right foot, low Centre of gravity, an eye for a pass, free kicks, shooting from long distances as well, with a year left on his contract. It won't be easy for us with other clubs interest as well with Madrid or Psg and levy standing in our way, but we have exausted all our options in that area who can really improve us on the levels we want to reach unless we are willing to integrate youth again and give them time to develop.

I'd love him here to be fair. Think I want a proper winger though after so long without any right side. A winger and Eriksen and suddenly we'd be looking very strong and we'd have real options. :D
If City can balance even more first team quality players we could do that.

Eriksen to replace Mata would be good - he only has 2 years left on his contract. It could be doable.

Makes every sense, his service will get the best out of Lukaku and Sanchez as well along with fellow players like Martial and Rashford. Has great movement and decent work rate, and his ability to play accurate long balls and spot a pass from deep which Mourinho will love as well as its in his playbook to play those long balls from deep in the counter, with his contractual situation arriving next year, if he doesn't sign a new one, and the window we had last market, we should make a statement signing like him beating other clubs.

Well, we have exuasted all our traditional winger options i feel who can instantly make an impact under Mourinho's tactics. Surely 100 m on Bale is not a wise idea now when he will turn 30.

He's probably Real's starman now. No chance

Eriksen would be better on the RW than Fekir as he has a great right foot cross on him, but both are better centrally, ideally Eriksen would play where Matic or Fred are playing in our current 3 man midfield if he came here.

Pogba----Eriksen
-----Holder

Wouldn't mind Fekir actually, could play the Salah wide right forward role for us cutting inside. He looked pretty good yesterday against City.

Dalot is the solution - him ahead of Valencia provides a comprehensive right flank.

United aren't looking for a right winger.

United are looking for a #10 who can play off the right of Lukaku.

Who Mourinho has selected there for a run of games: Lingard, Mata, Mkhitaryan.

Who Mourinho hasn't selected there for a run of games: Rashford, Martial, Sanchez.

If we buy anyone in the Summer, it'll be someone in the mould of Fekir, Eriksen or Ozil; or at a stretch, a naturally left sided player like Perisic who spends most of his time playing inside, making passes, making dummy runs and providing assists.

Why not try Pereira in the Lingard role, cutting in from wide. He can beat a man and cross the ball, as well as playing good through balls. We should be playing these type of players who can carry the ball without losing it all the time.
