Perfect opportunity for Lucius to save his mum: 'Get away from her, you whiny little bitch." Updated for modern audiences.Yup. Emperor Commodus will spit acid and grow extra jaws.

Feels like Pedro Pascal is in every series and movie lately crazy how big he blew up after Being Oberyn in GOT
Is this his first big mainstream role? Hope he smashes it he seems like a great ladI reckon Paul Mescal is going to be brilliant in this. Acting chops aside, he’s a top class athlete so will be really believable in all the action scenes. He’s even got the Roman nose!
Scott also directed Napoleon, no? I haven't seen that but given the reviews and 6.4 on IMDB it's not exactly a masterpiece.
Will he ruin Gladiator 2?

I heard a story about him once.I reckon Paul Mescal is going to be brilliant in this. Acting chops aside, he’s a top class athlete so will be really believable in all the action scenes. He’s even got the Roman nose!

When he sleeps with a girl, the next morning he'll suggest going for coffee and put on running shorts and running shoes.
As they leave, they'll walk a bit and he'll just go for a run leaving her.
Genius.
Yeah I think Pedro is great but I also hate that about Hollywood sometimes. I wish they would have picked some up and coming actor or a lesser known face in general, especially when you already have Denzel Washington in it as well. I'm sure he ll knock the role he has out of the park though. At the very least Is hope he plays a bad guy this time around.Feels like Pedro Pascal is in every series and movie lately crazy how big he blew up after Being Oberyn in GOT
Heard this one is centered around the emperor Caracalla or maybe I misheard? I'm open minded about another film, though I thought Joaquin Phoenix was the best thing about the first film- a really creepy performance.
Yeah if Cian O’Neill is praising you you must be in decent shapeI reckon Paul Mescal is going to be brilliant in this. Acting chops aside, he’s a top class athlete so will be really believable in all the action scenes. He’s even got the Roman nose!
That series of 3 in a row is fecking impressive, he's absolutely perfect in all 3.My friend was in the same acting class as Mescal, remember going to see a play they put on and he blew everyone away. Was always going to be a star. Normal People, Aftersun and All of us Strangers are all brilliant, too. Can't say I expected him to be in a Gladiator sequel but I'm still intrigued! it's a shame Ridley Scott has mostly made shite since the first one.
Paul Mescal and Pedro Pascal? Thirst trap central.
The ultimate daddy battle.Who will emerge as Champion of the 'Scals.
Whoever loses, we win.The ultimate daddy battle.
It'll look great though. This is going to be so disappointing.
Can already imagine SNL spoofing this with a fedora.

Big shoes to fill
If Napoleon reflects the current state of Scott’s abilities , it’s going to be a colossal train wreck. This is going to be so disappointing.
I don't get how an acclaimed and experienced director like Scott looks at his final product of Napoleon and approves it.Napoleon ruined any excitement I had for this.
Almost certainly. Ridley Scott hits a few but misses most. Makes it worse because you always go in with some expectations
