Television Rick & Morty

Just watched the episode before the last (the one with all the different versions of Rick and Mortys), really incredible. Some hilarious stuff (when they're changing dimensions and keep going through a living room, first with the pizzas ordering people, then the couches, etc.), some fecked up stuff (the dome of Mortys being tortured!), a meta reference (that's great Morty but this is no time for arcs) and a brilliant little messed up ending, it's amazing how much they pack in a 20 minute episode each time. And they never fail to develop at least another character on top of the main story (Jerry's story was great in this one). I really really love this show, it's cracking. Gonna watch the last one, I can't wait til this evening.

Don't break your arm jerking yourself off, RiP.
 That was a fantastic one liner!

Just two minutes into the 11th episode, and already there's some great dialogue:
- What do you mean, you're having a party? Are some glib globs from the third dimension going to come over and play cards or something?
- Glib glob? You're luck a Traflorkian doesn't hear you say that.
- Is that like their N word?
- It's like the N word and the C word had a baby and it was raised by all the bad words for Jews.

The one before last, with all the different Rick & Mortys, was probably the best of the whole season. Hit all the right notes with me that one.

The ending was fecked up! I agree with you, for me it had all the best things about the show very well channelled into 20mns of TV.

The after credits scene had a brilliant moment with Jerry and then an even more brilliant moment when Rick fecked it up for him.

Sheiiiitttt...

I take it there's one every episode? I've been turning off as soon as the credits hit every time.

Wonder when season 2 will hit, hopefully this year.

Just started watching this a few days ago. Episode six had me crying laughing. When they're burying themselves and Morty can't handle it anymore

Close Rick-Counters of the Rick Kind quite easily.

This.

I really enjoyed episode 2 also though, with Snowball and the take on Inception. Wasn't the most clever but it hooked me on the show more than the pilot.

According to some reliable website called Wikipedia, season 2s first episode is set to air on May 5th. Surely that's too soon?

For me it's comfortably "Something Ricked This Way Comes". Possibly one of the best episodes of any show I've seen. Genius jokes from beginning to end, and just the right amount of meta.

My one complaint about the show is that it can sometimes buckle under the weight of its own ambition. But when it gets it right, it gets it really right.

Close Rick-Counters of the Rick Kind for me too. Fantastic episode. Quite a few others that I loved too, not a single one I disliked, I think.

I rewatched that episode tonight, I hadn't noticed that at one point during a scene with the stupid Rick and Jerry, you see a poster of Titanic in the background, which we find out is a passion of Jerry's in the next episode, of course (unless it'd already been mentioned previously?). I'm gonna re watch them all, I'm sure there's loads of little things to pick up along the way.

So I watched this for the first time last night, the latest episode I think. It's actually amazing, I'm gonna get right on watching all of this.

Ah you started by the end? I thought the first couple of episodes were a bit slowish but it grew on me quickly and soon became a personal favourite. The characters are great and the storylines are surprisingly well constructed for the format. You've got 10 episodes of goodness in front of you my man!
