It's nothing special, it's really just Pokemon with Rick & Morty, but there's a lot of references to the show, and each Rick & Morty they come across has certain particularities which are often fun. So it's fun to play if you're a Rick & Morty fan.
what's the catch? does the game limit you if you don't pay for shit?

You can buy in-game currency but there's no need since you get more than enough from winning battles. You can buy Blipz 'n' Chitz tickets to open packs but you can win those and find 'em. There's no timer/energy stuff and also there's no ads.
It's a very well done F2P game. I'm kinda bored of it already though because I have a level 39 Wizard Morty who can one shot everything.

Yeah I found one BnC ticket and ended up getting four or five Mortys as another ticket came out along with the Morty

Haven't reached that yet. Is it true the show goes downhill fast in the second season. That's a real shame if true, funniest program I've watched in a while.

Definitely no dip in quality in the second season, I can't even think of a dip in quality in one episode, and its set itself ridiculous standards.
Interdimensional Cable 2 was fairly meh, but that is the only episode I didn´t love.
But they even made jokes about how it was a bad idea and the first one was perfect. Seems like it was done more as a jab to other franchises.
I know what you mean as its got the least structure as an episode its more of a selection of cut aways like a family guy episode but I found it absolutely hysterical still. If all the episodes were like that the show would be a lot poorer but as a one off I really enjoyed it.
The get schwifty episode I didnt love, but thats about as bad as it gets for me.
Yeh, that one is the weakest one, the best for me is season2 episode 8 and the purge one,and the parasite one, they are great.
