Television Rick & Morty

Thought that latest one was a bit shit actually. Ironic that Rick says at one stage that watching people decapitating each other etc. bores him as all that seemed to happen in this episode was people killing each other which was just boring.

Yeah Morty was so good in this episode, knew he'd kill the light house guy when he started reading his script, and his meltdown later on was great. I also enjoyed Jerry's side-story.

Great episode. Going to be a long fecking wait for season two. Also, Tammy's parents were Gaius and Number Six from Battlestar Galactica.

Was it serious when Mr Poopybutthole said at least a year and a half wait after the credits? :(

I think they should make the episodes half an hour in season 3.

That ending though

lol @ squanchy throwing his BFF Rick tag and the little earth, haha. Not sure why I found it so funny how disgusted and terrified Rick was about a planet made of coblife form that he would have preferred little earth or a screaming sun lol

I loved that it was never explained but it was just absolutely terrifying.

Also, Cyborg photographer and his disclaimer!

Really great episode that was, best one for me. That song :(

Edit oh and when the cops arrived on small earth as the sun set, few seconds later 'good morning'

What a cliffhanger. :(

Now we all have to wait a fecking year at least...

What a bittersweet episode. Emotional cartoon show.

In other news, I was watching the 2nd season of Cheers and coach made a joke about a guy who was a cross between Abraham Lincoln and Adolf Hitler.

the show is brilliant. Is there any similar series, that can ease the pain?

I was told about this show because I was asking for something similar to Archer and Frisky Dingo. So try those. Frisky Dingo is more similar I'd say.

cheers. I´ll give frisky dingo a try. I watched the first episode of Archer and I am not totally convinced.

Takes a short while to get into both but they're well worth sticking with.
A lot of the comedy comes from repeated themes/jokes, in a good way.

Archer is the most polished cartoon I've seen I think.

To be clear, whilst Frisky Dingo and Venture Bros. are fine they're not Rick & Morty quality. Out of the two I do prefer Venture Bros.

Archer is Rick and Morty quality but a very different show.

Bojack Horseman is worth a look if you're into Rick & Morty.

Weird characters mixed with some of the grim/dark stuff too.

I like Bojack, but it's not quite as funny. Rick & Morty is the only show I've seen that manages to mix humour and an undertone of tragedy so well.

By far my favourite cartoon right now. Absolutely hilarious. On the first episode of season two right now and Rick vs Rick vs Rick vs Rick is hilariously fecked up.

I don't think I could get bored of watching Close Encounters of the Rick-Kind.

All four of them shouting "Is this what you want? Children are dying?"

Do you guys ever wonder what happened to the original Smith family? You know, the ones whose world got cronenberged? I wonder if they're still alive...

A bit behind the curve but I love this show, though it took me a few episodes to properly get into it. Also think the second season is a lot stronger than the first, now they've fleshed out the world and the non-Rick characters a lot more.
