Gaming Retro Video Game Thread

I know a guy who resprays cars and sometimes random stuff too. I might ask him how it's best to resprays something like that.

That would be cool. From what I've seen it seems like there tons of different kinds of spray paint so you have to use the exact right stuff.

Yeah, plus the prep work will be key. It's about a nice even finish and a gloss too. I wouldn't mind giving it a go either tbh. If I managed it I will resprays just about everything

 I can imagine it getting quite addictive. Can just picture someone running around the house desperately looking for anything that can be sprayed.

Yeah, that's going to be me, I think my dog would look lovely in a purple / green combo.

My nan would be an awesome iron nan.

Set up my ps2 today, had a couple hours on spyro  had a go of crash bandicoot too.

Just starting final fantasy X now! Also ordered dominos. Have beer in. Perfect valentines day!!!

Exactly!

Man, the graphics aren't even too bad. I expected them to be awful for some reason.

Yeah, games from that generation still look good graphically. Well, probably not all of them but the ones I've played.

Someone name me more ps1/ps2 games I should get! This is amazing!!!
PS2
Manhunt.
The Warriors.
Timesplitters 2.
Second Sight.
Driver: Parrel Lines (Better than San Andreas, oh yes that's right)

PS1
Driver
Hogs of War
Rayman
MediEvil.

Crash Team Racing, Spyro 3, Crash 2, Tony Hawks, Timesplitters, Vice City, Timesplitters, San Andreas, Shadow of the Colossus, Kingdom Hearts.

Do it.

THPS 1, 2 and 3 are on the list, crash 2 or 3 aswell, can't remember which was my fave. Forgot all about CTR.

Also found vice city and gta 3 in the house today

Already played 5 hours of ffx. And about 30% through spyro! Productive day !

Which Spyro?

Year of the Dragon (3) has the skateboarding. And nothing beats Spyro, except Spyro on a skateboard.

I dunno why, but the series since hasn't been as good, especially when they moved from tracks to open world.

I can't really comment, i don't think i've played any other one apart from Takedown

I was going to try Paradise but never got around to it in the end, for one reason or another.

The original spyro, gonna do them in order  woke up and I'm excited which game to play already!

Don't think I ever played burnout takedown. Will have to get that aswell. eBay is brilliant!

I have around £5 left in my Amazon gift balance...thing, someone say some random good NES games and I'll see if any are cheap enough for me to get.

Really? Man, I dunno where all my NES stuff went, probably in the basement :/

Hmmm, there were loads of epic NES games but remembering names is impossible

Olly, you still haven't played Crash Bandicoot.

Get 2 - Cortex Strikes Back

With the recent weather and current NES prices, keeping them in the basement could lead to a rather unfortunate (if unlikely) outcome  :nervous:

I've looked, but I don't like spending more than a couple of quid on PS1 games :(

Get these too.

I've got the PC version of Oddworld, and one of the Gex games on the N64. Though I'm not sure if they're the same versions as the PS1 games.

Blitzball is absolute shit. Te stats and numbers mean feck all. Seriously. feck off! Worst part of ffx
Some people were mental for that, I was rubbish, so I could never get into it.

Also, I just signed up at GOG, to get Dungeon Keeper, and for some reason they sent me an e-mail with an order for like 7 free games?!

I mean, to be fair, they all seem like games I might be interested in, but I'm not sure why it happened.

Was the same for me, I signed up a couple of months back (they had Fallout 1 and 2 for free) and also got some extra games.
