Anyone ever played Blades of Steel? I've just been playing the Game Boy version. I bought it in the summer but only played it once for a few minutes before today. It's actually quite good fun.
Talking about Bullfrog, I always thought that Magic Carpet is an amazing and very underrated game.
Does anybody remember watching this tv show about gaming as a kid?
Just found out about a bootleg version of Pokemon Yellow that was created for the NES.

Loved this as a kid!!! Loved the music especially, still now I do!
Also, Blades of Steel was epic, I remember getting into a punchup with my cousin because he knocked the NES and crashed the game as I was about to beat some team I found really difficult!
Wonderboy in Monsterworld has surely already been mentioned?
Desert Strike / Jungle Strike / Urban Strike were all pretty awesome back in the day too.
I tried playing Super Thunder Blade recently, hard as heck even now. Useless at it.
I'd buy a second NES and paint it yellow. I'd do a terrible job but I'd try my hardest.
I could have sworn me and Lambo had a few posts between us about a couple of the Wonderboy games but I can't find them at all. Maybe I dreamt it in a really boring dream.

Been playing Super Castlevania for a few hours, bloody love it. Wish they'd make another one like that. If there are any United fans at Konami and is on the Caf, I demand that you make a new one.
I used to watch that. Not as good as Games Master, but decent enough.
On a related note, the music on Ecco was brilliant.

Ordered a ps2 & few games off ebay over the weekend, probably wont be here till late this week, maybe even next week.
Games I remember on the listing were Spyro 1 & 2, FFVII, and FFX, also think there was crazy taxi, tekken 3, crash bandicoot and Gran Turismo 3

Yeah, came with 2 memory cards, 2 controls too which was a bonus. I was in euphoria when nobody else outbid me.
The closing moments of an eBay auction... one of the most nerve-wracking situations ever.
Especially for my mother, should have seen the absolute panic on her face ever as an auction she bid on was closing, then seeing it close and realising someone outbid her by £2, the devestation and moaning afterwards was hilarious.
I'm pretty sure my first couple of auctions I got the shakes. I hate to think how many people have keeled over due to all the panic.

I wish I had the motivation (and knowledge/skill) to try something like that. Would be awesome to be able to knock something like that up whenever you wanted.
Yeah, and you wouldn't have to goto a boring job you weren't interested in ever either. If you could do that you'd make a killing selling them on!
