I pmed my pick to someone else. posting from phone now. good thing i dodnt pick bo. he would have been my 11th pick and benarrivo was my backup.
We are going for the best of the best, unfortunately the English lads don't meet the grade.
All the good English players get picked early because they're familiar names, but there's better players out there instead in the initial stages and the ones that are left now aren't that great. Most of the time they're just not worth it basically.

Le Tissier was a midfielder in the Lampard mould, covering exceptional distance to get into the box.
As I am playing with five defenders which includes wing backs, one of the three defenders - perhaps Baresi will have a free role behind and in front of the other centre backs as necessary whilst further up the pitch you would have Le Tissier and Sherringham as attacking midfielders/centre forwards moving all over the place with Di Livio and Le Saux bombing up the flanks with Klinsmann or Bierhoff goal hanging.
I purposefully wanting players who were comfortable in a variety of different positions and players who are technically capable with the ball at their feet without needing to lay it off after two touches - my team includes two formidable sweepers and England's most technically gifted midfielder and striker of the nineties, on top of a very strong defense, very capable full backs, clinical strikers and a great keeper. Whilst I haven't studied what other people have done I doubt people could come up with as many different formations and strategies that can hold weight as I could.

I used to watch Le Tiss at the Dell back in the early/mid 90s and desperately wanted Chelsea to sign him.
He is an interesting one with that regard, he essentially had a free role at Southampton where he could do as he pleased though I've seen him referenced as an attacking midfielder more often than as a centre forward or striker.
And one thing is also certain, my team would absolutely own penalties.
