Sad day for the club, RIP Kath
 
This is so sad. RIP Kath. Thankyou for dedicating your whole life to this club and bringing a smile to everyone’s face every single day for over half a century. You won’t be forgotten and will be sorely missed.

Club legend in many ways. Clubs would do well to maintain the presence of people like her - the last link to a time when football was more connected to the people. Fergie always spoke so fondly of her
 
Served the club for more than half a century, imagine that. A true club legend. Bless her soul.
 
When her husband, Richard, passed away, Sir Alex Ferguson took his squad along to the funeral to pay their respects and stand in solidarity with Kath as she grieved. During 2020’s mid-pandemic lockdown, she was visited at home by players and staff members who wanted to ensure she had company.

What an impact she had on the club we love. I bet she’d have some right stories to tell.

I assume she lived a long a fruitful life, yet it's hard not to feel somewhat sad.

I didn't know the lady, but from what I've read she was a fantastic person. It would have been a privilege and an honour to have known her, but isn't this what supporting a team/club is all about, absolute devotion to something that you love.
RIP Kath. I hope the club can find a suitable memorial to you.
