Good player but his sister is the real baller
He really needs to work on keeping his emotions in-check...

Really unbelievable the competition for englands RB role now
TAA right midfield ala Beckham and James as RB?
I remember in the times before we signed AWB we were linked with him. Didnt seem very realistic that Chelsea would be selling him to us
He is a genuine contender and competition for TAA's spot as England right back. He has a quality finish and cross and he doesnt get caught out as often defensively as TAA when he actually has to defend. You dont worry about him defensively any more than the usual fullback which isnt the case with TAA
Isn’t James the one with experience in midfield at club level? I’d rather play him there and Trent (our best playmaker by some distance) in his preferred position
I'd transition James into the Kyle Walker role for England (Right sided CB in a back 3) and have TAA as the RWB.

What an absolute monster of a player. England are really spoilt for choice in the RB position with Walker, TAA and him.
I think the only issue with this right now is how young the team is. Walker is one of the few really experienced players.
I remember watching his Wigan loan highlights being really impressed, exceptional talent taking the next step up - in a right set up, with clear team & play structure, must be said though.
Laird looked promising but I don't see him as exceptional as RJ at the same age, but players develop at different tempo so there's hope we will have one of our own soon.w
I was reading klopps take on that a few days ago. He says that TAA doesn’t need space, he can whip them in from anywhereI was reading somewhere that TAA in midfield might not work so well. According to this source having the game ahead of him and the space to run into is a big part of his game. Being higher up would mean less space and less time. I think it was Tifo...
The most all round full back in the world right now?
31 now and we know pace is one of his biggest qualities. I'd keep Walker in for the next WC and then prepare James for the role thereafter.
I think that'll be the plan. I think Trippier's race is run with England now. We need to get Livramento involved soon as well.
Mental how stacked it is. Any of them have Scottish blood?
And Trippier, Wan Bissaka, Aarons, Livramento and even Laird. Probably more I've forgotten

wasn’t a huge fan of James but he’s world class at the minute. He’s miles ahead of Trent, he’s the player Trent would be if he could defend
He's been having these performances since breaking through, he's just doing it a lot more often now.How has this guy improved so much?
He’s always been a super talent. Not like he’s gone from average to world class or something. He is just naturally improving under a top coach and realizing his potential. How has this guy improved so much?
He's not a full back, he's a wing back! Can't speak for other leagues but in the PL he has stiff competition from Cancelo.
But there’s more to being an attacking FB than assists. Trent has a wand of a right foot but James seems more dynamic, he gets involved in play in and around the box. He's not a full back, he's a wing back! Can't speak for other leagues but in the PL he has stiff competition from Cancelo.
TAA is still better going forward. I'd take James for his allroundedness (that's a word right?), but we are talking about a player who has had 15, 16, 9 and 8 (still counting) assists over the last 4 seasons. James is more defensively sound, but then again he has a 3 man defense to cover him.
