Ok, finally it's time to reveal the results!

After a bunch of grueling rounds and some questionable choices, we've finally come down to the top 30!

I will post 6 films per day throughout this week... Sorry but I also have a life!

If I tag you in the reveal of a film, it means you are the person that had it highest on your final list, so it would be good if you chimed in with a few words about why you selected the film being revealed.

I will also fill in the list below for convenience, in case you simply want to see the results in list view.

1. The Godfather
2. Alien
3. Pulp Fiction
4. LOTR: Fellowship Of The Ring
5. The Godfather 2
6. The Matrix
7. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
8. The Shawshank Redemption
9. Apocalypse Now
10. Terminator 2: Judgement Day
11. Blade Runner
12. Goodfellas
13. LOTR: Return Of The King
14. Indiana Jones: Raiders Of The Lost Ark
15. The Shining
16. Jaws
17. Good Will Hunting
18. 12 Angry Men
19. Gladiator
20. Die Hard
21. Se7en
22. The Silence Of The Lambs
23. Old Boy
24. Inglorious Basterds
25. Jurassic Park
26. The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
27. The Dark Knight

Alrighty, that's me out for the night, I just wanted to get the thread set up.

The first batch of results will be released tomorrow.

No worries

I'm going through some stuff in real life so doing this actually takes my mind off things a bit.
Reported for getting my hopes up.
Had to set it up as I'm super stacked with some real life stuff tomorrow so will only pop online here and there to update with films.

Hope things aren't too bad and everything will turn out alright! In the meantime, thanks for all your efforts in this.

Batman Begins at the bottom. Felt it did an England Euro 18 and got in thanks to an easy draw.

Still can't believe tripe like Interstellar and Batman Begins made it ahead of Parasite, Rocky, The Thing etc

I'm not happy that Nolan has this many(or any) films in the top 30, but I'm pleased to see that 2 of them are "out" already.

I've only seen Heat once and don't remember it that well. Might revisit it soon.

It's good, but very long. The ending let's it down a bit and Mann should've stuck with the original one.

It is indeed very long but I thought the ending was brilliant actually. In any case, one of my favorite films.

Just want to say thanks to the work @Dirty Schwein has put in over the weeks. It’s been a fun thread, and also I’ll fully support any potential coup d'état to install Con Air as number one, so we can bring back some order/respect to the forum.

Cheers bud. Whatever happens, Con Air is number 1 in my eyes.

Same here, and a great song at the ending too.

I prefered Once Upon a Time in the West. Think its his best movie but the Good, the Bad and the Ugly was great too.
Once Upon a Time in the West would probably make my top 10

Best superhero film for me , perhaps because it barely feels like a superhero film. I was hooked from the opening scene and it features one of the best acting performances I've seen in Heath Ledger as the joker. 9/10

Yeah, i'm not entirely opposed to that making the list. A lot of the shooting techniques were still original and different, I just feel i got bored of the Nolan technique a while ago and it doesn't seem to have changed or evolved and maybe gotten a bit more exaggerated and weaker for it since.
