Do think it's the weakest of the three Beatles albums that'll be on the list.
Yeah, i'm a big fan of the Beatles but Pepper is not actually one of their best. Too Paul heavy and when you break down the individual songs there's a lot of fluff (especially on side 2)

Great album - the art of peer pressure very underrated

This also beat To Pimp A Butterfly when they both progressed but placed lower here.

There's a good argument for TPAB being better anyway, but I would guess it's also the album people who aren't that into Kendrick automatically think of as his best as it had more cultural impact.

I preferred it for sure. 'i' is probably my fave Kendrick song followed by King Kunta and they're both on that album.

how much a dollar cost is probably the best hip-hop track of all time. that or all caps.

One of my favourite ever albums and only one track on it that I don't like (She Looks Like Fun). I listen to this constantly. So chill.

Well done guys for placing all the best stuff at the bottom.

It's either that or you had 40 votes

Agree with that. She Looks Like Fun doesn’t even really fit with the rest of the songs. They should have left it off the album to make it stronger.

The peak of their career. Timeless and one of those albums you just play all the way through without skipping anything.

Also the b sides of a couple of singles could easily have been on the album. Look up Out of Mind, 2 Late and Babble if interested in particular.

Genius album and would be no1 on my list on some days.

Have never heard of either of the two above.

You have heard of The Strokes even if you don't realise it, as the opening line of Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino is "I just wanted to be one of The Strokes..." Is This It is probably the most influential rock album of this century, and Arctic Monkeys are probably the most obvious example of a band it directly inspired. In other words it's a band you might actually like!

I'd be surprised if you didn't know some of The Cure's bigger songs (like Friday I'm In Love) but Disintegration isn't where I'd advise someone to start. It is their best album though, a dark, moody, pretty masterpiece.

Two very strong albums that now regularly appear on best of all time lists.

Oh yes! Yeah I actually have, just not their music.

Will be checking out all the albums in this final 40 though so I'll be well educated by the time this is all said and done :)

This was tied with Disintegration but won on the tie breaker of having a higher position on someone's list.

Absolutely pathetic from the caf here. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves.

I've never listened to a Daft Punk album, primarily because their singles haven't done anything for me outside of Da Funk.

Still sounds fresh today. The sound engineering was something else layering the guitar parts an octave apart.

Has to be one of the most important albums of all time with all those it influenced later on.

Play it loud.
