My general approach to sport is akin to cracking an egg with a sledgehammer. Needless to say that’s not something that works in snooker.
That long pink, I’ll never know how they’re so good at long potting.
Tough frame this but Ronnie got there in the end. Allen was picking up some momentum in this mini-session and now finds himself no closer than at the start. Must be disheartening.

Didn’t enjoy that break from Allen one bit then. He was chasing position on every shot, completely let off in the end.
Never really in doubt. Hendry won’t be happy
He's done it, 19 triple crown wins. I thought Allen was mounting some sort of comeback but it wasn't to be for him. Ronnie's temperament is so much better these days, I wonder if he still has another world title in him.

That was funny. Allen impressed me and seems a decent bloke.I agree with him.
Ronnie played through peak Hendry and through a period when you had peak Williams, Higgins, Selby, Murphy and Robertson. In recent years he’s played through the toughest snooker schedule and he’s still racking up titles at an age when the rest of them were showing signs of fatigue.
I think he will retire behind Hendry on 6 World titles but well clear of him in terms of triple crowns and ranking wins.
So proud of Ronnie. He's finally added grit to go with his magnificent talent.

I had a tenner on him to win the worlds this year at something like 25/1... If he's anywhere near those odds in 2019, I'll be putting a tenner on him again.I agree as well. He's still not done either, he's got a couple of years of winning big tournaments left in him. The only argument left against him is the amount of world titles but having the triple crown records does count for a lot.
