This last frame is going to be crucial. 15-10 is probably going to be too much, but 14-11 and its game on.

Higgins will sense a comeback here, his potting has been great last few frames

15-10, Williams win from here unless Higgins pulls off something special.

Williams halts the comeback and is 5 ahead going into the evening session, needing 3 more frames. Unless Higgins comes out all guns blazing, that should be enough you'd think.

Massive frame for Williams, Higgins is more than capable of reeling off 4/5 frames in a row but I can't see it happening this evening.

Would need to be very special. Needs to win 8-2 tonight.

Yup, as I said earlier in the thread if Williams opened up a lead of 6 at any point in the game it'd be very tough for Higgins. Its very unlikely now. I think anyone other than Williams and Higgins would have won, he was under pressure from frame one.

Williams let those two frames slip but Higgins is a machine right now

What an immense final:eek:

I don't want either one of them to lose. So good from both.

Huge fan of Williams and would love for him to win. Got some money on Higgins though.. Such a good final, looked like it was over before that session but Higgins was phenomenal. I think he goes on to win from here. I'm thinking 18-16.

How the feck was that shot of the championship?!

And that after that magnificent red on red via cushion from Williams.

Damn you, BBC.

All level now! Unbelievable from Higgins.

I still think Williams will win this. He's getting the run of the ball by a mile and Higgins's run is actually quite fragile. I feel he'll miss a difficult one every time he plays. I hope I'm wrong.

Williams needed to win this, one ahead again. If Williams wins the next one again Higgins will be under massive pressure.

Well, yes. He'll be one away from losing.

As I type this, Williams misses. Come on, Higgins, don't let it go now!

Interesting final overall, even if the standard's been a bit up and down. Higgins gave himself too much to do today, no idea what he was thinking when he went to cannon that brown last night... 9-8 at the start of the day and it might have been a different story, even with the first session today going the way it did.

Incredible final. Snooker of the highest quality from both under so much pressure. Wow

Higgins isn't as godlike as earlier, that'll give Williams some additional courage.
Williams had nothing to lose after Higgins levelled the match. Would have funnily released some of his tension....

Oh my. Will Higgins pinch this frame?
