Redcafe Snooker

I think this is game over to be honest. Ding might close the gap to one or two frames again but I'd give him about 5% chance to win this.

The balls are certainly running in favour for Selby which seems to be the case a lot of the time.

Ding hasn't capatilized on Selby's mistakes enough. Failed to do so again here.

I don think the standards have been that high in this final to be honest.

Yes some great shots here and there but both players seem to make a couple of bad mistakes at least in every frame.

The safety play has been much better than the potting. But that was always going to be the case in a final with Selby.

I'm pretty sure I just saw Roy Keane's miserable resting face sat next to where the players come out.

Can't see anything other than a Selby win, he's too good defensively.

Yeah they mentioned him earlier. They should have him in charge of removing people when their phone goes off.

Imagine the background noise as he takes them out the door...
"Which feckin pocket ye cnut"
"ye said it was ye mammy"
*cries for help*
*Keane walks back into arena briskly, and alone. Dusts his tie, takes his seat and continues to stare at the audience relentlessly*
Referee: "thank you Roy, please continue"

Ding should be wrapping up frames like that but now it's back into another messy tactical battle. He lost the momentum.

Feel for Ding, he has completely dropped the ball this session. Still can't stand Selby though and the whole way he plays the game.

It's a cross double with safety in mind, not a fluke. Shot to nothing of sorts.

For me fluke is a completely accidental result. This wasn't I'd say.

Ding is just not good enough, even with a half good Selby. Shows the low standard of the whole competition this year when McManus and Fu make the semis while Ding makes the final.

This isn't half good Selby. This is full flow Selby.

He did this against Ronnie. Completely destroyed his game mentally with shitty play. Also, he seems to make 4/5 mistakes/bad shots a frame that any normal player would lead to their opponent clearing up. Instead, he gets a lucky bounce or kiss and it leads to nothing being on. His luck is ridiculous.

Selby doesn't half allow for some excruciating frames.

Feel for Ding somewhat, he's made a few too many errors. He's played the better snooker over the two weeks.

Selby is gonna win the world championship the same day the city he was born in wins the Premier League.

Mark Selby becomes world champion just minutes after Leicester City are champions of England. Just stop to think about that. It's absurd.
