Redcafe Snooker

Daughter just came down and asked what I'm watching, says it looks boring. Told her that it probably is one of the most boring things to watch, and YET also one of the most tense and exciting things to watch. After about a minute I caught her swerving her head to encourage Selby's recent back ball corner shot into the pocket.

Brecel needs to get his shit together or this'll be over soon.
My wife was never into snooker before she met me. She too thought it was boring. I’m at work now and she’s messaging me about it, same last night. Last couple of years she’s been on about getting tickets to go watch live. Once the bug gets you, you’re hooked.

The irony of Luca coming back from sitter losing positions against Ronnie and Si suddenly find himself losing the title in exactly the same way.

Karma, bitch, etc.

 true enough

Selby at 5.0. Given the mammoth task of getting over the line (for Brecel), plus Selby being Selby, is it worth a punt? I haven’t watched much of the match

Down to 1.64..... some nerve to hold and not cash out here if you put anything on.

Snooker betting seems utterly insane. Shame there's not always this amount of cash in the markets in the UK, no wonder the Chinese are bent as feck with it.

Selby not caving in for a few tries at saving a frame 21 behind.... call me stunned.

Luca did brilliantly to hold it together that last frame. Surely he can get over the line now, trophy in sight.

Incredible. That is a lesson to never give up and always believe, keep on trying. He never looked like a potential winner two weeks ago. This might be the peak and he never wins anything ever again, but wow.

I didn’t actually pay any attention, it was only £5. Still reckon it was worth the odds even though it didn’t come in
