Great 1st frame from Ronnie tbh, I would like to see Selby win this one personally. O'Sullivan doesn't seem to be demeaning the game at the moment then?
Well, this looks like a non starter... Going 3-0 down to Ronnie... I know there is a long way to go but this can't be doing Selby any good, some poor safety from him, a poor miss on the black and Ronnie just punished everything.

Scrappy fifth frame with mistakes by both players, Selby takes it to go within 1 frame of Ronnie. Not been overly impressed with either player so far to be honest.
Can't believe Selby's high break is 37 in this session yet he is still right in the match.

Massive frame for Selby to pull it to 8-5. Ronnie comes back from being out by getting a few snookers, but then accidentally knocks in the green while potting the red and Selby takes it. Unlucky for him. At least Selby has more of a chance now though.

Missed the second century but 2 fantastic frames of break building by Ronnie. Something the final was certainly lacking up to this point. There's no stopping him when he's in that mood.

True. As soon as he looked to have won a big frame, Ronnie strikes back with a century and carries on from there.Selby needs to win this frame to stand a chance.
To be honest even if he wins it, it doesn't look like he'll have much of a chance.
Today overall goes to Ronnie but I think deep down he'll be puzzled how he only leads 10-7 as Mark really hasn't played anywhere near he's capabilities. Tomorrow will be an exciting end to what's been a very enjoyable World Championships.
Also a fun little stat, this is the third year in a row Ronnie has led 10-7 after the first day of the final, we all know how the last two ended up don't we!

Claymore will probably come in and tell you Ronnie is too negative and that's why he isn't leading by more.
It's typical Selby this, bores the feckin life out of the game.
Selby's given himself a chance of making a game of it, at least.

Two digs at me on one page, calling me out by name? What's up, is Robertson your dream date or something? Calm down a bit, he's out and the final is better for it..... just.
Regarding Ronnie, big fan, so why on earth I'd call him negative I'll never know!! Did you miss those two big breaks he made once he got out of the Selby tactical, slow game? What I actually said about Ronnie was he's missing a few too many easy balls, which is true. He missed some tonight, straight black which would have won him the frame for example. He wasn't forcing the issue, attacking more because of his lead, it was a bloody fibre on that changed tip of his which distracted him. Hate it when he changes tips, always gives him something to grumble with.
Hopefully tomorrow he wipes the floor with Selby.

Ronnie looks like he keeps losing concentration once he's a few frames ahead, like he can't be bothered as he has a decent enough lead. He should easily win it though, just depends which Ronnie shows up tomorrow that will determine the scoreline.

Typical slow, scrappy negative frame praying on a mistake, just how Selby likes it.. Ronnie needs to just take the dull by the horns and he'll have the beating of this chump.

I agree but this is the sort of snooker Selby has been trying to impose on O'Sullivan all match.
I'm at work so I can't watch, but I've just seen Selby's gone to 10-9. So that's four frames in a row for him. What's going on with Ronnie?
He's been drawn in to a game of safety, something that really isn't he's style.
To be fair, Ronnie's an excellent safety player as well. Probably not as good as Selby, but still quite good.

Ronnie is paying the price for not having a bigger lead after yesterday, god only knows how it was only 10-7.. a lot of work to do today he can't afford to carry on letting Selby dictate the speed of each frame.
