Seriously, I never intended to change the vote and couldn't have anyway as I was too busy trolling Tito and Gravejoy

Good stuff from both sides, two nice teams. Good luck with the penos

Will just get the boys settled down after that. Totti's going a bit loopy.

5 takers on the way Aldo...

Oh boy, Suárez is blaming the English media. Little does he know the only Englishman on the pitch plays with him.

Tito, tell your men to get a grip. The momentum is all with Cutch right now, this could be worse than us vs. Stoke :nervous:

I am not sure if I can handle more penalties. My reaction when I went in the match-thread, sure of a Balu win and saw a 3-0 loss.

And it begins. The stylish Spaniard Hierro steps to the spot to start the proceedings.

An expert in set pieces, he is expected to give his team a good start. He's takes the run the goes to the right...

Peruzzi guess right, but the ball just went past him by a whisker.

Cutch 1-0 TITO

From team TITO, we have Paul Scholes. The Ginger Ninja who had a great game as well pulling the strings throughout needs to return the favour here.

Calm as always, he goes towards the left...

Canizares knew it all along. Saves it with a strong save.

Cutch 1-0 TITO

Paul Scholes is never a first peno taker, let alone with Totti in the same team.

Major blunder from Tito there, nerves starting to show in his camp.

Next up for Cutch is another mentally strong character, Dunga. He's looking to prove his critics wrong who thought he doesn't belong at this stage.

Can he calm his nerves and do the job? He keeps it simple and drills it down the middle...

Peruzzi dives to the left way too early, no chance.

Cutch 2-0 TITO

I'd have made Peruzzi take the first one just for shits and giggles.

Err, Aldo, how does that Hierro peno work? Hierro shoots right, Peruzi guesses correctly, yet the ball goes in?

Dunga would be cool as a cucumber. Solid taker picks from Cutch so far and deserved lead on that basis alone.

And here comes the Portuguese maverick Deco, charged up as always. Will he further increase the woes for his team? He better not.

He chooses to go towards the right side....

Canizares was rooted to the spot. Lovely disguise from Deco and he kicks things off for his manager.

Cutch 2-1 TITO

Unless I'm mistaken, the penalty taker is effectively moot, as they are decided by L vs R etc (for keeper/striker)...

No point to my question other than generally wondering
