Format - Slightly Complicated - Please check you understand it.

Everyone is divided into Groups of 4 - You and three other players

You and your three group members arrange a single day/night to play three rocket league matches

You play with every other player in your group, against the other two... In all three combinations!

For example: rcoobc, Big-Red, mazher13 and lookingforericsseagulls are in the same group. They will play:

Match 1 - rcoobc & Big Red vs Mazher13 & lookingforeric
Match 2 - rcoobc & Mazher13 vs Big Red & lookingforeric
Match 3 - rcoobc & lookingforeric vs Mazher13 & Big Red

Each win is worth 3 points (including overtime wins)
Each over-time loss is worth 1 point
Each regular time loss is worth 0 points

The top two players after three games go through to the next round, along with maybe the best 3rd placed players

First Qualifier is Points, then Team Goal Difference, then Individual Goals Scored (by that Player), then Assists, then Saves, then by date signed up to the caf

Can PC Players join - Yes! Apparently they can! (although see above)

What do we need :- A PC/PS4, Rocket League, PS Plus (PS4) and I'd recommend a headphone. And a paper/pen/phone to record scores

I don't like the format :- Not a question, but okay fair enough. Let's try and see if it works.

How long does each round last :- Each round takes place over one week, but each group of matches takes place on a single night.

I want to back out :- No problem, just try to let me know as quickly as possible. There are contingencies in place for this type of thing

What happens if we can't arrange the matches? :- After about a week, if the matches haven't taken place, a fifth player will be added to your group. Between all 5 of you, you will try to arrange for 4 of you to play the matches as usual. The player that doesn't play any matches will be out. If after a few more days matches still haven't taken place, a sixth player will be added to your group, and so on.

Isn't there a problem with the format, team mates trying to make each other lose? :- I don't think so. Teammates interest should always be aligned.

What do we need to record after each match :- The score (example 3-2), whether it was an Overtime win or not (yes/no) and Individual stats like personal goals scored (0,1,2 etc), assists (0,1,2 etc) saves(0,1,2 etc)

I thought you hated 4 team groups :- I do, but this shouldn't be too bad. After 2 games, the only possible scores should be:

6-3-3-0 (2 regular time wins)
6-4-3-1 (1 regular time, 1 overtime win)
6-4-4-2 (2 overtime wins)

With the team in last place always paired with the team in first in the remaining match. The team in last place can always still qualify in the top two by winning his final match by the largest margin so far. The team in second to last place can always still qualify by (at worst) on goal difference by winning large too.- If I am wrong about this, let me know.

In short - no one can qualify after 2 games. No one can be out after two games.

I went out on goal difference! I demand to be reinstated!:- By my calculations there is an 80% chance that *at least* 1 team will go out on goal difference in any group. Goal difference is absolutely vital.

I want to stream the match to twich, is that okay? :- That's awesome! I have no idea how you do that from PS4, my internet isn't good enough, but it sounds great! (Just check with your group that it's fine)

I thought this was called the Champions League? Why is it called the Gold Cup :- The double "leagues" was doing my head in.
