RedCafe FM10 Experiment

Oh, and I think the updates will be a lot more general than the other FM Experiment. With ~30 teams, there's just no way I can take the time to write up something about every club. Maybe something very short. Instead, I reckon I could do half-season updates, to give you that bit of title-race (or relegation-battle) excitement ;)

Then, if something "special" happens, I'll report it. There will also be a full account of big transfers, takeovers, etc.

Does anyone know where cesc's mullet is from? I need his team. He's been online not long ago, so he should post it. If not, then we'll just have to do it without him.

I just found out that there can only be one cup. Don't ask me why, it's just not possible to have more in Malta (or RedCafe, as it's known now). I reckon that'll just be the RedCafe Cup, then.

That's too bad. I was starting to think I could possibly start running it today. In all honesty, he should have just created his club instead of mentally masturbating over his picks. He had all day, and he was on just half an hour ago, when I was busy editing.

No matter, now it won't start at least until cesc has his in.

Nah, it's okay. I need a break anyway. If both Cesc and Christofaux are in, that makes for a 17 man Championship. But, so be it. If cesc gets his club in early tomorrow, I can start running it then.

There was a draft of about 5 players to a team that went over nimic's head so he decided to do a different draft of only 2 players each so as not to have all the best talent in the world in one league (which is fair enough imo)

So on the page previous there are the actual groupings of the leagues plus the players you have been assigned. :)

Oh. Thanks. I started reading it all but it was very confusing. So are my 2 players Dzeko and Higuain? How is the rest of the team made up?

Yeah you have Dzeko and Higuain (I really wanted Gorcouff and Dzeko so you got one half of my dream, you lucky bastard :))

The rest of the team I assume will be made up of whoever our chairman picks as manager and their choices in the transfer market.

No longer am I "cnut Bags FC" I would of killed myself cheering even virtual versions of the Starfish himself and Argie Paul Dickov.

Danielle and Darren sound like a couple where one is a transvestite and they are the weirdos on the street no one talks to.

Lionel and Antonio (which is basically just Tony) yeah Lionel and Tony sound like proper men.

They go down the sunday league with a flask of scolding hot Bovril each and talk about who they kicked the shit out of the previous night.

guess it ended ok with Veloso and Xabi Alonso. Helluva partnership that could turn out to be. Have barely heard of the others though.


nimic is right though, it would be boring to have all the best talent in the world in the league already. it doesnt matter if we all start with players at 200 ability or at 20, so long as we are all on a fairly even playing field. I would prefer us to start at a lower level (same with facilities/stadium/staff) and have to work our ways up to the top.


revised version - Eto'o and Diarra? Could do better, but could do a fair bit worse i guess.

Pretty happy with Vucinic and Silva. One more decent forward and my 4-3-3 could be deadly on the attack.
