Gaming RedCafe FIFA 11 PS3 League

Here we go.

Jgraham and nooshka have not posted their locations so I put them both in international league. If they are willing to change it, they may do so before they have played their first game.

Rules are following:
1) Games shall be 7 minutes per half.
2) You may use teams with ratings up to 4.5 stars. 5 stars teams are not allowed.
3) You may only use each team once, therefore you have to post who played who after games so I can keep track of it.
4) You must play at least 1 but not more than 4 games in each week, starting on Monday, ending on Sunday.
5) You must play at least 8 games in a month, between 11th days of certain months, i.e. now it's 11th April until 11th May.
6) Those who don't play required amount of games will be punished with a deduction of 2 points (if they don't meet the requirement of 1 game a week) or 4 points (if they don't meet the requirement of 6 games a month). This will not concern people who will actively seek games on here, only those who go missing for long periods. I will post a list of players with deducted tally on 12th of each month, though hopefully there will be no need.
7) You cannot play the same player again in two weeks following your first game.

We have one player who is in newbies but wanted to play, his login is arthurka - you are supposed to contact him via PMs. I will be in touch with him so I will know if he is trying to get his games played.

I will be more objective than The FA and UEFA.

A total of 15 players.

Keep in mind jgraham and nooshka may switch leagues when they post their location.

There will be a cup competition within each league and a cup competition for all participants (UEFA Cup only this year, next season there will be CL and UEFA)

Top 4 teams from each league qualify for Champions League for next season.
Teams from 5 to 8th place qualify for UEFA Cup for next season.
Cup Winners also qualify for UEFA.

There will be prizes for top players.

If you lot pull this off I'll be mightily impressed - looks like a logistical nightmare. Hope it works well though. I'd like to take part, but not sure I could commit to it.

Or get another 7-0 battering at the hands of 20le_Solskjaer!!!

Question Sarni I don't understand this thing about one team per time, does this literally mean after each game I have to pick a new team? So after 20 games I have to scroll through the game looking for any 4.5 star teams from other leagues to use?

I'm presuming the aim is to mix it up with 4 and 4.5 star teams so people select wisely per week.
 
Looks excellent Sarni. May I suggest a new thread, where the first post are the instructions, in the 2nd you keep editing to keep track of the table and the rest, and everyone is warned to post NOTHING BUT RESULTS in subsequent posts.

Do you need any help with anything?
 
I'm around now so if anyone wants to get the UK league under way, I'm willing to get it going. I have quite a few of you as friends already it seems, just from scrolling down that list.

You may use 4 stars and even 3.5 stars, but each team can only be used once.

That's the point. If you use Arsenal, Milan and Bayern early on, you will be finishing with Bolton. :smirk:

People who repeatedly refuse to take part even though they have subscribed and do not play their games will not be allowed to play in future competitions by the way. I want it all to be played and will attempt to have all games played because otherwise we won't finish the league - bear that in mind, think of everyone else in the competition!

Good stuff Sarni! How about we start two threads for UK and Non UK leagues with the respective tables and players as the first posts? I feel with 15 people in each category this thread will probably explode.

Yes, you can play from now on. There will be no league in the game though.

A lot to chose from even if it's a two-legged league, no need to go lower than 4 stars unless you really like a club in particular.
 
You got old list, Udinese are now four stars and some of the teams have dropped a level - Hamburg, Werder and Wolfsburg I think. Nevermind because a list will look similar. I think the best teams to play are Arsenal, Milan and Bayern and I would be saving them for top players if I knew who they are.
