Gaming RedCafe FIFA 11 PS3 League

Sorry to be a pain but i'm only briefly online tonight, I believe the cut of date was 10th, did I enter in time?

I haven't really got time to go through the thread and the first post doesn't seem to say. If somebody could do me a massive favour and pm to let me know if i'm involved and what I need to do etc.

Erm, it seems my FIFA is fecked. Keeps saying Failed to load.
 
I have one game left in me this week. Would like to play it whilst I'm "hot".

Will be here from 22:19 - ??? (oh yeah!<3)
 
What a game. :lol:

4-1 down until 85', still 4-2 at 90' but got to 4-4 somehow and won 5-4 in the extra time. Shame I don't play like that second half in the league. :lol:
 
lol... I got complacent as feck, what with having restricted you to no shots in the first half... BLAH... Plus I thought I had a chance at not getting sent off with that tackle, and got a bit unlucky at times. Oh well... T'was an epic game and you certainly were unlucky in the first half as well.

Hope the next one is as good, but a tad more balanced ;)

I was bad in that second game but not 5-1 bad imo. Certainly played a lot better than in my league games, and if I had had some finishing I might have got a result there. At 3-1 I gave up, Lukaku let me down because his movement was not really up to Dembele's and Hazard's standards. Two very good games, I am looking forward to playing you in the league.
 
I probably need some friendlies now to get back in form, when I was playing FIFA on a regular basis I was good, in the previous tournament I got to semis with some excellent results along the way and I am doing well in the 360 league but I stopped playing lately and it shows. I will not fight for the title, not a chance of that happening after that start but with 22 games left for me, I might still have a shot at finishing in European places.

Yarr, it was good and if you'd been applying your R1 while finishing more you'd see me scramble more. Know what it's like when it all unravels, tho'... Went out 1-4 to 2Ole in the quarters, and you saw a lot of other results like that towards the end when people just couldn't get back up after a couple of surprise goals.

I hope I haven't spent myself completely with regards to meeting you in the league, it'll be interesting at any rate :)

I just cannot finish those one on ones, and you seem to be really good at it. I try to blast it but it never works, I thought it was better in the World Cup game as goalkeeper was less likely to pull a wonderful save, here it happens on a regular basis.

And I regret that Marchisio shot that went off the post, would have been one of the best I scored but Quagliarella still got the rebound spot on.

As I said, your finishing is crazy so I will be using a defensive side in the league against you. :smirk:

High five on that one, I've badly struggled in the two games I've played in this tournament.

I stopped playing Fifa for 3 months, my defence used to be rock solid and I'd create chances for fun but 20le_solskjaer creamed me before.

Suit yourself, though it needs to be said that under competetive pressure I'm somehow not as fluent in attack.

Time will tell ;)
 
Bit of a dirty bastard, ain't ya? What's with the trying to take me down every time I countered? ;P

Good game though. Shame I lost it through a failure to clear it with the goalie. Good advert for De Gea.
 
I wasn't exactly close to being clean through when you started chain hacking my player on the run, though, but fair enough. If that's you in a friendly our league game's gonna get heated ;)

Either De Gea was wow or I was woe... I was nearly scoring on every bloody attempt I made last night so this was quite frustrating, glad it was just a friendly :)
 
I see Marcelo Falcon is on... sorry I couldn't wait any longer last night, but I'm ready for our league match any time in the next hour.

Though it's rather early where you're at so I can get it if you don't fancy it.
