I'm surprised that Srinath was left around for so long. I don't think Gillespie and Bishop are better than him.

I hate you. He was one of my favorites growing up. Definitely better than Gillespie and Bishop IMO. He was a one man army.

Bishop was a better test bowler clearly. ODI...I can't be sure and I don't think Bishop bowled in enough of them anyway. Gillespie's about his level true.

There's one bowler left who was better than him though. I'm sure he'll be picked this round.

Razzaq is a decent pick. 6000 odd runs and 250 wickets, can't get it better than that.

I'm surprised you think there's few allrounders remaining. In a one-day context, i'd say there 5-6 remaining which should be enough for everybody if they're not greedy about it. Razzaq's probably the best of them possibly but I don't think there's a huge difference between him and one or two of the rest.

Quality pick nevertheless.

I know what you're saying. Maybe it doesn't show in numbers. But I rate Razzaq much higher than the others. In the sense that he could win you a mtch with either the bat or the ball. While a few others with similar averages were just plugins who could do a bit in both. Which is why I felt the need to jump the gun on him.

It irks me to say I'm out of Pakistani picks now. Used up all 3. I did that in my test draft also. I seem to like Pakistani cricketers alot.
 
Agreed, Razzaq was a match winner. His problems were in his head, very inconsistent.
 
Yep, some very good teams shaping up. The last few picks when the available talent is less obvious might decide lots of games i reckon.

He played 43 tests and 84 ODIs. And at that time playing 84 ODIs meant being around for quite a while.

His ODI record-

84 matches, 118 wickets at an average of 26.50 and economy of 4.33

Amla who was a third round pick has only played 62 ODIs.

It was tough and go between Srinath and Bishop for me. If we are talking about consistency spread out over a number of years, Srinath takes it but since this is more about players at their peak for a decent period of time, Bishop takes it.

There's a few I can think of and as is the case with a draft, by the time I have to make my 6th and 7th, there will be a significant chunk of my probables eroded. Right now, I'm banking on TheBest and Varun making my decision easier for me.
