I don't mind. Whilst a good pick he's still a level below what's expected in this draft as most will be this round.

Also Heinze fits with the formation I wanna play really.
 
What's wrong with Gabi Heinze? Obviously not goat tier but given the pool he's a good player.

tbh i never rated him so maybe its personal but the gap between him and Carvajal is pretty big as Carvajal is world-class right now or at least pretty damn close, level then Heinze was never even close.

That Dynamo Tbilisi side was fantastic - and had some memorable performances, for example destroying Liverpool with Dalglish, Hansen, Souness and co 3:0 in 1979 (Chivadze also scored)

Explanation: since there's no other shadow manager and I'm unlikely to need the same as RT the idea agreed with EAP was I'd get the first outside CB put forward.

@Tuppet there were different options but I hope that you're happy with Chivadze, not sure if he'd featured in those drafts before which is a shame. Me and Joga considered him last time. Fantastic defender, but what separated him from the rest was his ball-playing ability - and those driving runs forwards :drool: He was Dynamo's top scorer one season, playing as a center back :D (of course he was on penalties and free kick duties, but still)

I picked him in the 50s draft. TBH, I don't think I sold him very well at all. We certainly didn't make gifs and compilations back then!

From my player profiles (by the time I was in the final, but he was a first draft player):

ALEKSANDR CHIVADZE
A key player and captain of the USSR in their 1980s WC campaigns. Chivadze was strong, determined, efficient and effective. He organised the defence and got the job done without much fanfare, yet managed to be Soviet Player of the Year (a rarity for defenders) while Blokhin was in his pomp. Chivadze will come in as a sweeper if that tactical option is needed.

Legendary fluke win with Chivadze at the heart of the defence
