Edit: Just realized, maybe you took it that "Played it with any of the players picked by manager before you". That could be the cause of confusion. That would make this box better and better as the draft goes on, which can never be the intention Just the last one.

Tbh it's also the way I interpreted it. And by chance my Thuram pick went through because the previous manager picked a player that played with him. Agree the wording isn't clear on the box.
