Realistic destinations for Kaka?

Kaka besides Carrick? Is that for real?

I can't see why shouldn't we go for him if he's willing to cut down on wages. And I reckon he accepted that already.

Wherever Giggs is. He's not going to be a starter every game but he still has the ability to deliver a quality through ball. He's a better option then Giggs as an AM for sure.
I doubt if he would want to have as much playing time as Giggs does. And even then, Giggs was only a makeshift AM/CM recently. In the 2-3 games under Moyes, he has played as a LW, and I doubt Kaka would relish that role. Specially if wants to get on the plane to Brazil. His best position being AM, we already have Rooney and Kagawa for that. Plus a 32-33 year old coming into PL, and directly slotting in the role, naah.

I can see he probably won't come to us,

but coming from a team that played Scholes and Giggs well into their 40 in the midfield, having a 32 years old Kaka is ace!

Could be a good signing for spurs. squeeze him in somewhere in the bale deal.

MLS would have made sense if this wasn't a WC year. I'd like to see him back in Italy.

AC could do with his talent and experience I think. Plus he'll have another 10 years there before he's considered as one of their "older" players.

Kaka to Real has to go down as one of the all time disaster transfers.

It has to be the single biggest really, he's done absolutely nothing over 4 seasons and at €75 million

MLS wouldn't make sense IMHO since he's looking to try and get into Phil's squad for Brasil and I can't imagine the Rossoneri can afford him. Curious what Perez thinks/believes he can recoup from that transfer fee for a 31 year old who has done or played little in 4 years at this point

I do not give a shit what anybody says. Whether or not he has played bad for Madrid does not bother me in the slightest. The man has got got quality pouring out of him and if we stuck a 31 year old Kaka beside Carrick, I would literally drop! He is available, we want a creative cm. Kaka is somebody we could get in the cheap that would defo play for us. I would love him at United.

Too bad we can't use gifs in ff anymore.

Kaka beside Carrick?

Kaka would defo play for us?

A CM midfield pairing of Carrick---Kaka , that has to top the lot, surely?

I am surprised he didn't say how we can use him in Carrick's position to give Carrick some rest.

Now, I would usually dismiss anything that AS (or indeed anyone) reports out of hand... but I have a weird feeling about this one for some reason.

Yeah, hard to see anything going wrong with us buying a player who hasn't played well in at least four years and, by the looks of things, has been sitting on the bench to protect his wages.

Hopefully the other club are Arsenal.

Well, if you consider process of elimination (Chelsea or Spurs don't need another attacking midfielder... though I can't imagine that would stop them and City have done all their business)... you're left with....

However it's probably a) nonsense and b)irrelevant as he'd go to Milan.

oh crap I thought this was the Herrera thread.

Do not want!

People's view on this if it ever did happen? I think I would be happy if we get him for a decent price and heavily reduced wages.

Risky, but not enitrely a bad move, if the fee is low enough I could see him on 100k a week.

Kaka is still a seriously good player. Problem is, he blew his knee out before he moved to Madrid and his famous pace disappeared. That totally changed his game. He still has incredible touch and control, a great eye for a pass and can hit a mean shot from outside the box.

If he was a viable CM, then I'd be all for this but I just don't see where he could fit in. I'll laugh my tits off if we sign him. Amazing signing 6 years too late.
