Too small for the PL.

I know he was ridiculously quick - up there with the quickest like a young Giggs, Overmars etc, only he played through the centre. However, I'm not sure that he has lost all of his pace. His acceleration seems ever so slightly gone, but his top speed is still quite impressive. Carrick, the oil tanker, has a very decent top speed and has caught up with very quick players, even Walcott, on several occasions, but when both were sprinting at full pelt in the Champions League for a through ball, it almost looked like Carrick were standing still.

I think Kaka is still very useful, and I think he would be superb for Tottenham, maybe even Arsenal. At Real Madrid, he's never going to be the main man, and thus he isn't going to be all that useful. I've never understood his position at Real either - he's an AM, right? But they don't use one, do they? When Özil plays, he normally drifts in from the right from what I've seen, and the left wide position is nailed by Ronaldo. How could he possibly fit into the system they play when he has to play more of a winger drifting in...

Wants to stay at Madrid.

“My intention is to continue at Real Madrid,” he was quoted by Marca
“I still have a contract with Real Madrid. There is a new coach and once we’re back at training we will meet and exchange ideas.”

Who's the guy on the left?

Unsurprising that Kaka wants to talk to Ancelotti before he decides anything, they had a good relationship didnt they?

That's Yao Ming on the right former basketball player he was 7'6 the name of the guy on the left escapes me but he played basketball as well he was awful.

Sun Ming Ming. This one is less impressive as Kaká no longer looks like a 5-year old, but nevertheless...

Manchester United had a bid for Kaka turned down last summer because Jose Mourinho would not allow him to join another big European club.
According to Spanish publication AS, Mourinho did not want Kaka at the club but would only allow him to leave if he joined a club in China or Russia.
It goes on to reveal that both AC Milan and Manchester United attempted to secure the Brazilian’s services but Chelsea’s new manager blocked both moves.
The report claims that Mourinho did not want to risk Kaka succeeding at another big European club in case he succeeded and the Portuguese’s judgement would be questioned.
However, Kaka was told he was more than welcome to leave for a lucrative deal in one of the world’s less prestigious leagues.
It then goes on to say the 31-year-old refused to make a big-money move in the hope he could re-establish himself at a top European side to have a chance of the getting back into the Brazil team for the 2014 World Cup.
If Manchester United have ideas about resurrecting their bid for Kaka, they may well be disappointed once more as the report claims he now wants to stay at Real Madrid.
The arrival of Carlo Ancelotti as manager has changed things for the former World Player of the Year, as he was in charge of the AC Milan side that saw Kaka’s best form.

Would have been a fun option to have on loan, especially when our wide players forgot how to play football.

He's on the same wages as Ronaldo.

He missed the PSG boat.

There's nowhere for him to go without a massive pay cut. Real Madrid aren't interested in subsidising his wages just to "get him off the books" as he's still got good marketing value, despite hardly playing.

And I've read his reluctance to reduce his wages is why he's remained at Real for the last couple seasons. I guess his god wants him to keep all that pay.

The amount of footballers not playing football while on massive wages does actually depress me a little bit. Moreso the not playing than the wages.

On hindsight, he shouldn't have left Milan. Pretty sure he would choose to stay there if he's given a chance to turn it back again

Kaka has just said: "I want to leave. I think it’s the best thing for me and for the club.”

And who an earth is going to want him with the wages he is on? Unless he takes a significant paycut to <100k no club is going to want him. Reckon he'll go back to Brazil.

I'd have him here in a heartbeat. Would be perfect IMO. Well, ok, not perfect, but I'd enjoy it.

I enjoyed an interview I saw with him (from two years ago but only saw it now) in which he easily acknowledged he's not a special player any more, and is predictable since he lost his physical power. Chronic pain in the knee and pubis being the culprits, it made him disheartened and lose the pleasure in training every day. Down to earth and very well spoken, apart from the exaggerated religious dross.

He's finished and finished Brazilian players always end up back in Brazil.

he's said that earlier as well. iirc, he was willing to take a wage cut but Madrid couldnt agree to a transfer fee. what a waste his career has been since the move.

I do not give a shit what anybody says. Whether or not he has played bad for Madrid does not bother me in the slightest. The man has got got quality pouring out of him and if we stuck a 31 year old Kaka beside Carrick, I would literally drop! He is available, we want a creative cm. Kaka is somebody we could get in the cheap that would defo play for us. I would love him at United.

Yeah and while we are at it let's bring in Ronaldinho as well, I'm still pissed he chose Barca over us, he can still be useful and if only to make Anderson appear less fat, I mean it's something and better then nothing.
