Wouldn't it be interesting to see how far we can go? We have a formula that is quite effective against big teams so I'd be very excited to go through knock out stages and expecting us to hold our own

Of course it would.

But tbh I won't feel too bad if we couldn't. Our squad are still pretty young. If we keep improving we'll be back next year. With a better and more experienced squad. Of course I want us to continue, but for me it's not a disaster or something like that if we couldn't you know.

Ole didn't play kids in the EL knockout stages last season and probably wouldn't this season either. It's pretty much a fantasy, equating it with the League Cup.

I agree, I want us to go through and win the CL but are we winning it with no RW, martial as our main forward, no dm etc... I think it’s a season too early to challenge and going on but getting knocked out in the quarters isn’t much better than going out now but we can still beat anyone on our day. The EL as I said is a good opportunity for the kids.

We need to see genuine progress in both performance and mentally. We've been constantly getting a mixed back of it under Ole.
