    Tbh maybe just me but I don't feel nervous at all.

    If we loses, well it's some good CL football that I've been enjoying this year. It's not like we're one of the big candidates to go very far or win the CL, like those days under SAF. So I'd just enjoy the ride while it lasts I think.

    Thing is, I actually think we''ve done really well in the CL and apart from the Istanbul game, we've been the better team in all games.

    As for being one of the big candidates to win, who are those candidates?

    Apart from Bayern, who haven't quite been at the level they were on last season, there's not one team out there that I feel would blow us away.

    If we make it to the knockouts, then anything could happen.

    This pains me to say, but I hope that Paul is not in the squad, period.

    I am fine with him not playing well, I am fine with him wanting to leave, it happens. But the amount of disrespect he allows his agent to spew out while collecting enormous wages is just too much.
     
    Yeah, I’m not feeling good about this game been nervous all day I think we’ll set up too defensively and concede early on, then get caught out going for a goal.

    Our players are just so unpredictable it’s hard to know if they’ll turn up or not..

    because that game was just for lolz.

    This game is a real marker for how far we've come in last 2 years. Especially as we bottled 3 semi finals last season. Have to overcome that psychological barrier!
     
    No Fred, Martial or Cavani. I cant emphasize how fecked we are today. Just win I dont care how.

    Imo Bayern and Liverpool. Maybe PSG. Dortmund could go far as well I think.

    Yeah we've been better than PSG both matches this year. But it'd be quite different in the knock out stages I think.

    Of course anything can happen, it's football. And we've closed the gap with the top teams. I still remember how outclassed we were when we met PSG two years ago. They didn't even have Neymar.

    But no, imo we're pretty far away from a CL final. In the knockout stages the margin is usually quite small. We still have two very big holes in our squad. A RW and a DM. And most of our players are not experienced enough.
     
    I can see us going with 3 CBs and wingbacks due to the shortage up top.

    Midfield with Matic, McT and Bruno with Rashford and Greenwood up top.
     
    Win or draw this match and it will set us up nicely for what could be a fun season. Lose and then add that to PogbaGate number 7 or 8 (I have lost count) and this could well be the start of fecking horrible time to be a United supporter. We need SuperBruno to save us once again!

    Wouldn't it be interesting to see how far we can go? We have a formula that is quite effective against big teams so I'd be very excited to go through knock out stages and expecting us to hold our own

    If we don’t go through then we can focus on the league. I think we can be a bit of a surprise this year in the PL

    Not exactly a surprise, is it? Even without Raiola's comments Ole might have gone for Matic and McTominay. A draw is enough after all and the last time we played them we could barely get the ball off them for large periods.
