RAWK Goes Into Meltdown - Quadruple Watch 2022/23

Is there much on there about VVD performance/getting hooked?

Has Klopp said anything yet? Virgil injured or a tactical change?
Felt a strain but struggled with intensity as per Klopp.
Has his right leg strapped up. Sitting back on the bench so hopefully nothing bad.
Lost his pace? Seeing him trying to make up the ground on Mbuembo was sad to see. VVD from seasons just gone would have caught up to him no problem and cleared the danger.

Feel like I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place. The number of times I’ve defended Liverpool on here but then just because I call a spade a spade, I’m a poor fan. We’re in decline right now as far as I can tell.

As for posting a lot on here, I like the forum and I’m not from Liverpool so maybe the rivalry is different for me and I can look beyond it? I find this forum the best one to post on by some distance.

While it might be true that for a Liverpudlian it would be more complicated to compliment Man United (personally I think it depends much more on the person than his birthplace / current location),

I think that some people just have it in them to see things from a neutral perspective a bit more than others, even though they hate the team they seem to be able to analyze with a decent degree of objectivity.

I'd like Liverpool to lose 0-20 every game they play, but had no problem saying they were absolutely brilliant when they were that,
and that Klopp has done a terrific job at Pool. No More, no less than that (for example, saying that VVD was the PL's best ever was ott and kneejerk, and saying that Liverpool was the best ever PL team was stupid as feck).

There's a fine line between banter and being slightly in favor of your team here and there, to not being able to acknowledge / admit that a fierce rival of your team is doing extremely well. If you say Fergie was the best ever, would it be kissing our asses? If I said that Klopp is one of the best to have coached in the PL, would it? All very reasonable, some would agree in a heartbeat and some would find these opinions laughable. that's the nature of a forum.

From what I've seen, you seem to be a sensible poster. These RAWK posters seem to hate just for the sake of it.
The Caf is a much more sane place than RAWK and Bluemoon.
I'm sure that Pool and City have other online communities where the majority of people are sinsible, while having some biased opinions just like every football fan.

Carragher is dead to them
Seeing clips of Carragher on Sky dancing with Neville and Richards after the game just about sums that c*nt up.

Don't think any Liverpool player has slipped down as far in my estimations as that prick.

He's awful. A complete embarrassment.

Agree, used to love Carragher as player, I even got a signed shirt.

Absolute whopper these days.

He was always a prick though. The Arbeloa thing summed him up as a person. The Hodgson endorsing, the absolute shite he wrote in his book, the way his arl fella carried on about Rafa to all and sundry. Family of blues.

I laughed at “Casemiro’s inflated face”

What a laughable and oh-so-revealing headline...
128137688-times.jpg

That guy has a creepy looking face, he could have a career as the monster in low budget horror movies once he's done with football.

On Gakpo being the only player in the history of football to do this:
Just saw on his highlights that he takes corners with both his left and right foot. I don't remember another player that has done that before.

Yeah but can Cody spin backwards quickly in a circle with the ball?

He seemed genuinly excited when he looked at his shirt.

Cody in Red

I've never seen you looking so dangerous as you did tonight,
I've never seen you shine so bright, you were amazing,
I've never seen so many defenders want to be there by your side,
And when you turned and passed, it took their breath away,
And they have never had such a feeling,
Such a feeling of complete and utter loss, as they do tonight;

Cody in red is counter attacking with speed, week on week,
There's Darwin and Mo there, it's just you three,
It's where the opposition want to be,
But they'll lose to this beautiful side,
And never forget the way you played tonight;

Konate was dreadful. What a crap signing

He's having his honeymoon period. Will put his feet up and tail off dramatically soon enough, and when Rashford's seasonal streaky patch likewise drops off the edge of a cliff, so will United's artificially bloated (like Casemiro's face) league position.

Man you should be proud. Balanced isn't really a word or a thing over there.

Yeah the ref was absolutely favouring little old Brentford you can tell the deluded fools were not at the game... Klopp feeding them this rubbish to feast on is hilarious too..

One for good night

Saved the best for last!

What's all this about Gary singing and all three of him, Carra and Micah dancing???

EDIT: What a bunch of weirdos. Richards and Neville were laughing at Carragher and Richards tried to get him to dance along with the Brentford fans. He barely moved and then put his head on the desk.

fecking hell, never thought I'd agree with RAWK but this is so true! Never understood it really, I'd never spend time on a city or Liverpool forum for example!

I will never understand it myself. Can't imagine being in a rival team's forum. But hey, to each their own. I do enjoy the RAWK meltdown thread thoroughly mind, maybe a bit too much.

Fair dos.

I'll go as far as baiting them on BBC website HYSs
They seem to be happy to have over 4000 comments in the current one and pretending 90% are United fans.

Well said. One of the best parts of the caf is the rival fans and fans of other random teams. They hate us cause they ain't us.

Mate, you're just about propping me up. Otherwise I'd be enemy (traitor) number one. And I agree, despite this forum having it's share of delusional fans, it's the best one to post in for a wide range of topics as well as a user friendly UI.

RAWK is atrocious and does my eyes in, especially on a phone. Does have better emojis though, @Niall .

As for fans that continue to question why I / we spend our time here. It's because talking in an echo chamber is boring as hell. Of course, I am a member of LFC forums too but just for getting latest updates or a few views about how we performed, etc. Then it gets boring again.

A liverpool fan posting here is a different situation to a united one posting on RAWK. United fans on here will freely admit that Klopp is a brilliant coach and Liverpool have been a brilliant team the last few years with great recruitment. When United were winning things it was only because Fergie was bribing the refs on RAWK and if you praised them you were a manc cnut who needed banning.

For me it's about how well this forum is moderated and the quality of the different forums. The General forums are great with some very good threads I'm interested in, and there's always a great level of discussion. You just have to accept that most won't see Liverpool through the same lens that you and I do.

I'm surprised they think I'm overly critical of Liverpool. All they need to do is check the early pages of the Klopp thread and they'll see the amount of time I wasted defending his early years at Liverpool. Even now I wouldn't give any time to a Liverpool fan who thinks we should sack him. Everyone seems to forget where the club were before he came in.

They’re such an angry, insecure and mental bunch of lunatics over there. Very strange place.

The place looks extremely dated too, like an internet site from 2001

Their forum is fecking hideous to use on mobile. I go there once in a while for a laugh after they suffer a defeat and immediately realise what a pile of garbage it is, constantly having to zoom in just to click on a fecking thread!

Yeah, what's the fecking deal with that, honestly. I recommend their Reddit sub instead.

The Caf is objectively such a sexy forum compared to that garbage fire. Such optimized, much wow!

So Casemiro got his face artificially bloated.
Of course he didn't, however, it made me chuckle as just like someone on here pointed out, he does a look of someone who has had some botox done. Hard to put a finger on why - probably to do with his pronounced cheeks/cheekbones

And it's Liiiiveeee (from their PL match day thread)
Yeah sorry I defo don’t want this arsenal team winning the league
Bunch of card waving rolling cheats
Arteta has learned from Pep, and injected a lot of snide into Arsenal. But Newcastle are much the same - exaggerating every contact. Great to see needle in a game not involving us mind.
They’re a really unpleasant team and fanbase, but it’s still preferable to Abu Dhabi
...
Annoying how great of a signing Casemiro has been for Man Utd.
He was always going to give them a couple of good years, but it's the way they can casually throw a huge transfer fee and long term contract at a player in his 30s.
He’s been ok. Let’s see how he does in the derby next week.
...
Might be just me but watching Newcastle they remind me of Atletico Madrid

The low block, snidey fouls, rolling around, in the refs ear, time wasting….
Listen to this Arsenal crowd whinge until they score.
Only sing when they're winning.
Whilst I want football to feck off and die, I have decided to watch this game and have concluded that if they win this league, Arsenal will be one of the worst sides to have won it.
Mental that both of these are in the top 3. What a load of shite that was.
That was shite. feck football and feck off Liverpool.
Big chance for Joe Linton at the end of the half
Two entitled shithouse teams on show
Haha... I hope halftime doesn't feck Arsenal-Newcastle game up and it stays heated like that. Red cards galore hopefully...
Utd will be in top 4, our best bet is Newcastle to drop off or just go on and win the CL.
Enjoy Arsenal and Newcastle's football but they are narky shithouse teams, will scream and roll around if they can feel the heat. Would be funny if they ended up getting each other's players sent off to disadvantage each other in future games to the advantage of neither team in this match
...
I just want the league to end now
Arsenal were the least worst option. Now they’re unbearable aswell
They always were, they’ve just had nothing to be unbearable about for years. Prefer them to most other top sides but that’s more to do with the awfulness of those clubs than anything good about Arsenal

Part 2
Neville loves an ‘oooh’
Only watched 2 minutes and Neville sounds like he’s a judge on Bake off. Is he getting a handjob under the table!?

Phil's flown in especially from Miami.
Not sure exactly when Newcastle became biggest shithouses in league (arsenal players are annoying too) but fair play - don’t recall Bournemouth been like this under Howe, so wonder what influence on that is.
is right Brighton. Get in!!

Though they are going to absolutely destroy us on the 14th, can't see how we cope at all.
Brighton are going to tear us a new one
fecking hell hahhahahahhaaa Lampard the Great.
Well the reds may have spoilt my birthday but this Everton performance is cheering me up no end.
4 nil. Bye Frank.
Surely that's Frankie gone
But they drew with City with one shot on goal.
...
fecking hell, Luke Shw scored a goal
Meat pie, sausage roll
fecking hell, Luke Shw scored a goal
...
Almiron always looks like he is trying to recover from food poisoning.
Wayne Rooney will be the Everton manager before the end of the season.
Dyche seems like destiny
How are Newcastle third? They're dull as feck and to shake things up they rely on bringing on Chris fecking Wood...
Ramsdale is as weird as Pickford
This is the battle of Jordan Pickford’s understudies tonight. Can’t be good for anyone’s self esteem!
...
Saka is pathetic. Shame as he has talent.
Wtf is he doing? Barely gets touched and throws himself to the ground.
Can someone explain the shirtless geordie thing to me? Like why they do it.. are they not cold?
Probably not. They're just fat.
...
BHA fans doing the Ole' with every touch of the ball.

Sitting there looking bewildered with a weird grin on their face?
...
Neville hates Xhaka, doesn’t hide it
You know what they say about broken clocks... Can fully agree with him there...
...
Arteta and his team are too wound up, it will be spectacular when they blow up
Arteta is gonna blow here.
What’s wrong with Arteta ?
Do one on him Eddie lad
Arteta in being a knob shocker
Arteta asking to be held back there
Can’t stand either of them managers. Pair of c*nts.
Arteta is a whinging c*nt.
it's full on all game the c*nt. the implosion will be must see if and when they do start to wobble
feck off Arteta, you playmobil haired c*nt.
Absolute brats this Arsenal team/manager. Look forward to the widespread condemnation of Arteta's outbursts there
Is this the same Arteta who criticised Klopp for shouting at the linesman?

Fat Frank straight down the tunnel.

Sack the board is being sung.
...
United only 9 points behind now, only 1 behind the cheats If they beat Arsenal and the cheats they would legitimately have to be included in a conversation about a title. It is highly unlikely however.
They should be challenging with that squad, full of quality and some very experienced heads in there too.
They have gone 11-2-2 since their horror start. However, they have been fortunate in a few games and I don't think they'll beat the cheats. They could get a result at the Emirates though.
I get the feeling that 1-2 dodgy results and they could fall apart fairly quickly.
Agreed, I've not been overly impressed when I've seen them, just saying they should be challenging and should finish top four fairly comfortably, long way to go yet though.
...
I see they have Arsenal an extra 8 minutes to try win it.
Why should it only be the Manc teams which benefit from extra minutes?
...
kin ell....Newcastle are one horrible obnoxious cnut of a football club, on and off the pitch.......hardly news like, but still
...
How anyone could want this Arsenal team to win the title is beyond me
Lobo called them a mini City a few weeks back and I can see why. Trouble is, that means they’re not as bad as City themselves. feck Newcastle and Eddie fathead Howe somehow winning it. feck United coming up on the rails. feck football in general.

This post was brought to you in association with Killer Heels Inc.
Beyond you aye? Arsenal are a far better alternative than City, Newcastle or Man Utd. To add to that although you may think City winning it can be regarded as a 'bought' title, but they'll have accomplished 3 in a row - do we feck want that.
Would you rather City, Newcastle or United win the title then?
If I thought we could challenge again next season for the league (and we could if we're ambitious) then i'd rather City win it. They don't and they'll just spend a fortune and be more motivated and determined next season.
I think it'll be between us and Newcastle for 4th.
I still think Chelsea are in the equation as are spurs…..imperative we beat Chelsea in a few weeks time
...
Arteta is hideous
Perfect manager for the modern game though with all the antics and snide. Klopp is far too honest
Absolutely obnoxious little shit,i don't bemoan Arsenal possibly winning it but he is a grade A c*nt.
just once I'd love the sideline officials to suddenly "get distracted" when he goes off on one, and let the oppo manager knock seven kinds of shite out of him.

Them having a go at Arteta with Big gnashers (Wrigley's ™) chewing and spewing at everything is a bit rich.
