RAWK Goes Into Meltdown 2015-16 Edition

Couple of Liverpool fans on my Facebook going nuts. Not only did we beat them, but our debut boy also overshadowed their goal of the season contender.

And I quote: "he only went past one player FFS, everyone is acting like hes just won the Baloon dor (sic)"

Since the Liverpool 15/16 thread was locked, I'll post my thoughts as a 'pool fan here :D Perhaps they'll help balance out some of the RAWK-ness that's inbound.

United deserved the win, but I don't think we were outmatched or outplayed by much. A well worked free kick and an inexperienced tackle from our LB gave you a lead we couldn't catch, but that aside, De Gea had more to do than Mignolet. Great goals from Benteke & Martial made up for the first half, at least.

Our forwards needed a lot more creativity behind them, and that's why I pretty much gave up all hope after Cou got suspsended. Expected a loss, got a loss, not that arsed... Maybe I'm just a casual fan? Who knows, but meh, that's one of our toughest games this season out of the way, so hopefully we can put out a better performance next time out. Norwich > Carlisle > Villa should give us plenty of time to recover from this, provided we get the cup place and 6 points.
Well, that's the West Ham game addressed now can we talk about the Utd game?

Wow, really? I felt like we totally dominated 'pool for the majority of the match. Even though we looked a little blunt up top with Felliani our possession play as pretty outstanding and I felt like Liverpool were chasing shadows for 70-80% of the game. There was a huge gap in quality between both teams, espeically considering liverpool are supposedly a possession orientated team like ourselves. Our defence never looked like conceding where as yours looked shaky whenever the ball got in the box.

I said after Liverpool won vs Stoke that the team was rank average from back to front, seen nothing till now to make me change my mind

To John Henry
.shove your money ball up your Boston hoop, we lack game intelligence from the board room right through to the playing field. Sort it the feck out, or get the feck out. That was the most spineless performance by a Liverpool team that I have seen in feckING YEARS. You had better be in the boardroom on Monday, soft lad...

I object to serious discussion in here, but still, you were terrible. Offered absolutely nothing going forward. Seemed happy to let us have possession and hope that we didn't score. Which would've worked better if you'd have defended half decently.

Beaten by the worst Utd team i've ever seen. Embarrassing more than anything
Spineless defeat to a piss-poor team.
Beaten by a piss poor team 3-1.
Nothing worse than losing to Louis Pulis's long ball team
Against one of the most average United sides in 30 years
The worst United team in the last 20 years, that.
Why sit back and show respect to a shite Man Utd team
That was the worst performance against the poorest Manchester United team I've seen
Both teams were and are awful
this is possibly the worst united team in recent years.

Hmm, starting to see a pattern here. Only on page 4 as well

And if we didn't score...

Liverpool are so bad that they managed to lose 3-1 to the worst United side ever. How about that?

This is a genuine quote, BTW:

Rodgers said:
"We lost here last year, but we didn't lose as badly this time, so that is positive".

It's quite weird reading a RAWK where they've figured out their manager is a total gimp and generally appear to mostly have a firm grasp on reality.

No, I think we need to be fair. Rodgers found a way to use Suarez and Sturridge. He made it possible for them to be perhaps the best attacking duo the league has seen in decades. That's not easy. It required a good manager.
What?
A fecking blind squirrel could have got Suarez and Sturridge playing well together. It looks like this: pick them both. Sit back and watch.
