RAWK Goes into Meltdown 2014/2015 - The "We go again" Edition

You have a point, but its like theres no filter over there. We are all football fans, and we can all be subjective at times, we try to be as objective as we can. When someone over here makes a RAWK'ish post, he is humiliated/laughed at directly, or someone will tag the post as a rawkish post, but literally everytime I go to RAWK and just open the United forum, there is just only idiotic posts and literally nobody correcting them or doing anything, like they all agree that Sterling is better dan di Maria....

From what I've seen on here (I don't visit RAWK) people aren't saying they think Sterling is better, they're just saying they wouldn't swap the two. Sterling obviously isn't as good, but I definitely wouldn't swap them either.

Didn't know you've switched allegiance.

Switched allegiance?

A guy i spoke to the other day ex semi pro footballer came up with a great shout , if United need to win the last 3 games to gain CL qualification ...how far would they go to get .

Meaning if the last 3 games were against clubs that were above the relegation fight or even in it , would the Scum propose the 3 clubs throw the matches for a heavy pay off upwards of 10 million pounds each .

Do they want / need it that much .....if i was asked do i think they would do it my answer would be yes . Would the 3 clubs involved agree to it ...i seriously hope not .

They barely mentioned any conspiracy stuff last season but i have noticed quite a lot since the transfer window shut, i think they are getting a little scared.

RAWK was at it's best from 2008-2010. Delusion that they would sweep up the trophies aswell as overriding bitterness during out title tussle with them. Used to love going on there during that title race after we'd won, it was unbelievable how many of them genuinely believed we were paying the referees.

The following year was even better, similar to the way this year has started. Their first title push in years (finishing 2nd) lead them to believe they were at the pinnacle of English Football and the delusion on there was scary...when they fecked it up and finished 7th that year it really did go into ''meltdown''

No newbies forum for one. Secondly there are really shocking posts on here that would go on a RAWK equivalent of this thread. As a United supporter these shocking posts won't come across as outlandish as ones about other teams.
Nah. These posts are saved and referenced here. We know who are serious and who aren't here on the caf so when a thread gets big there are going to be a lot of non-serious posts in the mix that you can spot. You can't see that over at RAWK.

You can't explain all that poetic and conspiracy nonsense they come up with. That's just something else and why this thread exists.

I think the fact that it was a former semi pro footballer who came up with the theory definitely gives it more gravitas.

I liked this (more mild amusement than meltdown content) definitely some ITK content here, re formation, eagle, colour of pitch etc

How do you beat PFC Ludogorets Razgrad?

Their home shirt is also green, which can be a problem when we play in Sofia, because the pitch there is green as well,

Oh wow. The pitch is green in Bulgaria? Whatever next? Blue skies?

They are also a pretty rich team and apparently the Bulgarian Man City, and we've always have problems playing away at Man City, so that should be taken into consideration.

Aspiring football managers take note. All rich, bankrolled teams play alike. City, PSG, Ludogorets. There, that's your scouting done.

Yes because Ireland play in green, on a green pitch in a green stadium, we usually bamboozle our opponents with a bunch of floating heads and limbs, such an advantage we have. They are all mental

More of them need to look at the not at all ironically titled ''Alternative Premier League Table'' thread. It's all sweetness & light on there.

Yes, he's very good and yes it's a great choice. It's who I wanted to get it. He's our most important player.
You really think so? I think he's a good player, but when I think Liverpool captain I don't think Henderson. That's just me personally.

Been championing him since my newbie days. I love Henderson. He's more vocal on the pitch than Stevie is and he is who Rodgers uses to relay instructions to the team during the match.

You'd know more than me, interesting to see how he steps up now. He's certainly done well to turn it around.

Henderson doesn't seem like captain material to me, but maybe that's just because his face looks perpetually confused.

STOP TALKING ABOUT SERIOUS LIVERPOOL TOPICS. THIS IS FOR MELTDOWN

I was looking forward to some fun and it's just rubbish.

On their love for Rafa ....

What are the chances of Rafa replacing Del Bosque after the Euros?
Benitez controls the space, Spain control the ball, don't think it would be a fit.

I'll ignore the obvious comment about rafa's weight and having no issues dominating space as the comment is lunacy, space doesn't score goals, space doesn't block shots and whilst I get that it isn't rawkites meaning saying Benitez controls the space, Spain control the ball suggests Rafa would rather have space than the ball, his comment makes no sense.

Edit. Also it's funny because Rafa is fat.

Rafa hasn't had luck since 2010.

How about getting to two European super cups because of previous, better managers winning the champions league.... Oh wait one was di matteo

Aussie RAWKite had the audacity to say the atmosphere has been a bit shite but because he's from Australia, he's less of a fan.

This from the family club, where's that letter to Ballotelli again...
Interesting topic, tbh. I'm sure there's more than a few (top rēds) on here that would subscribe to the same theory, that foreign fans are lesser fans than the UK fans who in turn are lesser fans than the fans from Manchester.

Will take some time for reality to sink in. Took them long enough to accept that Ronaldo was a little better than Pennant
I think that was Anthony Le Tallec. I remeber they had bought two french youngsters Le Tallec and there was another short young guy.
They used to believe that Le Tallec was much better than One Trick Pony Ronaldo.

This from the club that is supposedly one big family and where you're from doesn't matter.

The whole you aren't from here so you can't comment is such a flawed argument.

Not everyone can get there, all he does is point out that the atmosphere is suffering lately, and if he could go I'm sure he would make noise, he still has ears, he still can hear so he can hear it's quiet.

All he's doing is pointing that out and asking what's going on with the people who are going.

It's just the arbitrary thing that they chose to use to silence him. Over there, it's faux pas to post anything insinuating that any aspect of LFC is less than the best in the country. Best club, best players, best fans, best stadium, best history, best atmosphere... if you disagree with anything, you'll be shunned. The actual insult shouldn't be taken too literally, they just say whatever they first think of.
