Their expectations thread has gotten more realistic since we beat them, .
What are they expecting now pal?
Just the sixth is it
More like a trend towards us & them squabbling over 4th/5th. It's not a fight that Utd have any chance of winning though, obv.
I suspect anyone predicting 5th for them might get ban-hammered though.

I would not be surprised if Maria van Gaal thought Spudheads wages stunk the place out. A fat contract and no place to go, as there is nowhere on the planet wanting to pay that much for what he offers. Dutch manager, is it time for van Persie to ask for wage parity, especially as he scores more?. That is a lot of their seating capacity differential blown on two wages, neither of which will be the lead scorer in the league.
No! Don't say that, you'll have all the scouse dipshits crying about how we've written them off on here even though in turn they think we'll finish 10th! Logic and scousers isn't allowed to mix!obviously pal one season out of the top 4 means we are on a downward spiral, cant attract anyone and best we could hope for is top half while Liverpool regain their crown as the best in England..
scouse logic!!

Great post from RAWK.
Its complete bollocks
Amazing how many opposition fans join us, only to go on and spend their time routinely defending Liverpool. Must be a coincidence.
No, it isn't.Yeah, it's surprising opposition fans with no affiliation to Liverpool can be impartial about Liverpool on a Manchester United forum.

You have to applaud how he has managed to link it to the 'seating capacity differential' though. Old Trafford therefore, if you think about it, would have less seats. Or something.
Any psychologists on here that can decipher this weird epic RAWK thread?

....or are they just a sarky, intelligent, witty bunch?
Maybe it's their way of saying negative stuff without getting banned? It was also a funny (sniggersniggerwinkwink) thread when they were winning. Not so funny after Slippy G slip slided them out of the title race.
Something like that pal.. Some of the replies are shocking if they were serious so has to be a joke.
Be like us having a thread saying "sack LvG.. We are in mid table" before a ball is kicked.
United beat Liverpool: 'It's preseason la, doesn't mean a thing'Optimism levels on RAWK must be rising as Liverpool are smashing Dortmund. They're playing very well. But as I'll always say it's pre season.
If they'd lost to Roma or Real Madrid, it think their attitude may have been a tad different.United beat Liverpool: 'It's preseason la, doesn't mean a thing'
Liverpool beat Dortmund: 'It's on la, our year, treble is ours'
I'm glad we're seen as outsiders, one season wonders, underdogs again. I think we'll thrive on that. Let people put Utd ahead of us as favourites for the title or top 4. It's up to us to prove them all wrong. AGAIN!
I mean sure, doing it a second time out of 20 does warrant an "again", but in all uppercase?
Just imagine if they'd won it, we'd never hear the end of it. That was the added bonus of City winning it, it was pretty much forgotten within a week, if the dippers had won it'd still be getting shouted about at every oppurtunity.Last twenty years before the last season don't count. Only last season counts. Stop living in the past la (except last season - that one counts).

Macmanaman on BT gave me the realisation, that we should be glad that it was Arsenal and not Liverpool that signed MeeeeerteeeeesaHHHHHHKKKerrrr.

I'm very confident we'll make light work of Southampton in a similar fashion.
Let everyone write us off. After all the abuse we've had to take this summer how sweet will it be when we tear a few teams a new arsehole this season? Let them sit and rock themselves to sleep muttering "b-b-but they s-s-sold suarez and replaced him with rickie lambert... h-h-how?""

To be fair, they already made light work of Southampton by signing half their squad.Today after the Dortmund game:

I think Silva is more reliant on other players. Assists, 1-2s etc.
Whereas Coutinho can comfortably drive through midfield, skipping passed 3/4 players. When Coutinho gets the consistency to his game, he'll blow Silva out of the water, in my opinion. Coutinho can play the nice football Silva does, and can play the through balls that Silva does, but can also go solo with the ball at feet.
Is there a better footballer to watch in our league than Coutinho when he's on it?
Skillful as anyone out there and the vision with the ability to pick that pass too.
I've posted often that he should simply regard any opposition players as inferior and just stroll past them - he's that good.
I wouldn't be surprised if two seasons from now he goes on to lift the balln'dor.
