RAWK Goes into Meltdown 2014/2015 - The "We go again" Edition

So much salt over there at the moment, you can tell it hurt them.
They are making the same mistakes they always have for the last 10+ years, they are more concerned with overall stats and action zones etc rather than realizing that the only stat that is important in football is the final score.

It's particularly embarrassing for them that they couldn't beat us even though we were playing awfully compared to what we've done previously this pre-season. If we'd turned up the way we did against Madrid, we'd have absolutely battered them.

I think the biggest fault with their analysis is that we we playing a full strength team - we weren't - and that they were a bit lethargic because it is pre season and they played on Saturday so they will improve, whereas we have nowhere to go, despite it also being our preseason, and we also played on Saturday.

Our defence coping with high tempo pressing worries me,it definitely needs addressing, but being toothless upfront should worry them, Lambert is not a solution if Sturridge is injured, they need another ball holding front man. And Sakho aside, I think they have as many defensive issues as we do.

Was thinking the same, basically if Fletcher had turned up we'd have twatted them. I wasn't impressed with them at all last night apart from Sterling but pace will always be a problem when playing 3 at the back.

Few things to take away from preseason.

De Gea makes it look easy
Exciting new system and style to match
Blackett could break through
Herrera and Shaw are beast
Mata picking up where he left off
Rooney back to his best
Fletcher back to his best
Young is Messi

Messi wishes..... ffs.

A random bitter RAWK member said:
From what I saw, this mattered to them, and we acted like it was a pre season training game. Gerrard and Rooney's different reactions to scoring said it all for me. They will now go off deluded that they are ready for big success

Gerrard didn't celebrate because he's completely broken after the spring/summer he's had and now can't see anything but pain.

Looking on redcafe because I'm curious of what the majority thought after that and it's much as suspected, lucky pen and we pressed them a little bit. They think they are perfectly fine and Jones, Herrera etc had a good game. I'm praying van Gaal is thinking similar as that first half performance was worse than anything under Moyes. They couldn't string a few passes together and shit themselves at the back. We tired second half and made a couple of errors and got rightfully punished but they rode their luck massively. I mean that square pass from Jones to smalling was just... I don't even know, it made Toure's against wba look sensible.

"Deluded to think they are ready for big success"

Yeah its like last 25 years we haven't had any success at all.

Dunno why i put myself reading that shower of scouse shite, infuriates me how blinkered they are to anything but their own shit team. Going on that the game meant nothing, would they of celebrated like feck if we'd lost. Somehow thinking they hammered us all game but we got lucky. Get to feck like, we made them look good by being shit in the first half. We were better in the second, controlled the game and dictated the tempo well. More importantly we scored 3 goals to their 1.

Not like they threatened too much anyway, was big Dave ever worried, i don't think so. A daft pen short of a clean sheet, that second shout was a fecking dive too by Sterling, the little prick. Yeah he was a nuisance along with Coutinho but that's to be expected of players with that style.

They will NOT be top 2 this year, They'll scrape top 4 if they even manage that. 1 good season cause they had feck all else to compete for, gimme a break. If they were in Europe last year they'd of been 4th at a push. Normal order will be resumed this year, they'll be about 5th, crash out of Europe, win feck ALL yet again. But it's alright, cause next year will be their fecking year.

ARRGGGGHHHHHH. and breathe

Wasn't far away to be fair. First half at times looked like Fletcher and others were literally paralytic with the amount of crazily bad passes.

Don't really know what's wrong with that statement. Van Gaal wasn't pleased and rightly so.

Although he got the wrong man near the end there. It was Evans, not Jones he's on about.

They were pretty poor in consideration of this. We were terrible first half, this is true, but besides from Sterling having a few runs, they created nothing. Once he was nullified/saw less of the ball, they crumbled. It was like they knew how to press and strangle us in our own half, but could do nothing after that.

The bloke's post doesn't suggest anything else. I agree, I thought people were flattering Liverpool big time last time. Had we been able to actually pick a pass properly they would have been very ordinary in the first half.

Some of them comments from last night are shocking...

If Rooneys "goal" would have been given, that place would of went under.
Even though it wouldn't have altered the final result we are ICC winner anyway! What a bunch of idiots

It's funny how they regarded last year define the gulf between us two clubs. They wrote off history pretending that thy were never out Europe and never been in 7th league place in the past two decades. How delusional is that?

Typical RAWK'er.... got caught in a lie and then tried to bury the evidence..... loser.
He's probably one of the posters in RAWK forum as well. Funny how stupid he tweeted contradictory statements within a space of a few hours expecting no one would be picking them up!!! Laughing out loud funny

It must be a sickener for Liverpool fans everywhere though. Having spent the last 25 years watching us dominate and win league after league, while they've spent shit loads for the grand total of 0 PL's, they then see Fergie retire (finally) and expect things to change. For us to fade away and them to get to the top again.

Yeah... football's a cruel world if you're a scouser.

From the SportBible, not RAWK but I think it fits nicely.

Alll sounds a bit childish here but as a Liverpool fan I cant wait to see what happens next year. If we make UEFA Champions League this season and Utd dont. Thats when we Liverpool fans can start laughing. Until you sign Vidal or some1 of that ilk your 5th, something magic is happening at Liverpool and with or without Luis Suarez we are moving forward. Straight shoot out LFC vs utd for 4th IN MY OPINION. Winner takes all! For what its worth, Liverpool are the greatest Club in England and you cant understand coz you dont support them, its like religion your in or your in.#LFCWORLD
