RAWK Goes into Meltdown 2014/2015 - The "We go again" Edition

So, how are they over there today after the newspaper headlines this morning? Surely us making a supposed bid for Sterling will have pissed them off to no end.

This might sound mental -- no, this will sound utterly fecking mental -- but, I think there's a chance Ibrahimovich might end up at Anfield, if they offer him a long-term deal and no team with CL football is in for him.

Liverpool get a nose bleed upping a contact offer to £120k a week, imagine them trying to negotiate with Ibrahimovic over wages.

The pussyfication of football is complete.

Do the players have training this morning? Hope someone (Can or Skrtel) nails the little prick. Sick of the sight of him now.
Unless we get a silly offer like 40-50m I would honestly ban him from football for the next 2 years. No training, no reserves. Sit on your greedy arse for the next 2 years and then go where you like to rebuild your career.
Good luck you little shit, f**k off out of our club and take that moron of a agent with you.
Great the way everyone is saying stick him in the reserves.

1. We don't have a reserve team
2. We could get £30m for the little c*nt.
3. We need that £30m to but Charlie Austin and Shane Long.
4. I hate Football.

To think we fecking expedited this feckheads clients playing time, put him in the spotlight, and even gave him the graduate position over Suso.fecking hell. What an absolute fecking gobshite.

Proper soap opera this. Been less ridiculous storylines in Gossip Girl and 90210.

If I was FSG Id teach this twat a lesson about handling current contracts.

Mr Ward,

Dont bother turning up for the contract meeting tomorrow. It's clear you have no interest in your client signing any new and improved contract that we "were" willing to offer.

As it is, we will continue with the current contract, at £35,000 a week (as opposed to the £100,000 plus incentives we were going to bring to the table) for the remaining 2 years of your clients current contract.

As you have stated that your client isnt interested in playing for Liverpool FC anymore, then we will be training and playing him in what we feel is an appropriate level that will be of benefit to the club. Unfortunately this may not necessarily meet with your clients heady expectations for the next 2 years, but in the same way you feel you need to do what is best for yourself and your client, we feel we need to do what is best for the club.

So, pretty much the status quo in relation to your client remaining as a Liverpool FC asset, apart from the fact that we have deemed he is not really suitable to represent the club in his former position as a 1st team squad member.

Thanks for your input.

Yours
JH
PS. My wife is gorgeous.
i would beat that agent with a hammer

Everything looked so nice and bright last season. Suarez, Stevie and Sterling. Now at the end of this summer they are all gone

Got to love this FSG transfer and wage strategy....

Liverpool! :lol::lol::lol:
Great consolation for not competing for the title this season, is watching the comedy show @ Liverpool FC!

this is so naive it's actually sweet

I actually think the club are playing a good hand here so far. The agent is the only one in the media. How does this look to any other teams looking to invest in him? He is being given enough rope to hang himself and then when the meeting happens tomorrow the club I reckon will lay it out to him what the situation is. The whole thing needs Rodgers to bench Sterling at Stoke though and actually publicly state that this has happened. I reckon that other clubs, City, Chelsea etc would be looking at the unfolding events and be asking themselves do we want to invest in this player who has such a feckwit of an agent?

Then don't even put him in the reserves. Omit him from the match day squads and occasionally give him a position on the bench. Even if he doesn't sign a new contract then we have to ruin him for the next two years to show all other players that you cannot force your way out of the club like this.

Yeah let's show any potential future player that if they ever try to leave the club we will ruin their career. What could go wrong? :wenger:

We are not refusing to sell him, we just want a fair price, that's it.

If he doesn't want to be at Liverpool then get rid, but not for a paltry 40,000,000, lets not make the same mistake we did with Suarez. Sterling has no get out clause in his contract as far as we know, so let the bidding begin at £100,000,000 and lets see who is really interested, after all he is worth what the club value him at.

A fair price indeed ;)

From RAWK:

In response to Madrid potentially being interested:
Well good! Isco can get £100k from us, and take Carvajal, Jese and Illarramendi with him and they can have him.

Thing is this all sets the precident...first Suarez leaves because he wants to play at a bigger club and win trophies. Now Sterling wants to play at a bigger club and win trophies. We are fast becoming Spurs.

What a despicable c*nt Raheem Sterling is.

Aww, poor fickle Liverpool fans:
Can't be arsed with football anymore. Vulgar amounts of money, players with horrible attitudes, backstabbing agents, the corporatisation of the game, obscene ticket prices so fans are fleeced, shite atmospheres and us repeating the same mistakes for more than 20 years.

This season has really worn me down, the endless dramas and controversies is very disillusioning.

Hard man Carra on the warpath:
Hope carra bumps into his agent at some point....

Secret admiration for Fergie:
Alex Ferguson, c*nt that he was and is, would've put Sterling in the reserves for 2 years - and he would've been correct in doing so. See how keen he is to sign after a year in the wilderness.

If the little c**t wants to go to Arsenal, we should ask for Alexis in return.

Hope Stevie leaves a mark on the twat too during the final training sessions. I have no doubt that he was being kind to a young player when he said he doesn't go near Raheem in training but I do wish he leaves a mark on him.

In reply to a poster stating that the agents comments may have been taken out of context:
FFS! Why are you seeking to take the twat's defence? By all means it is extremely unlikely that they would make up that he said knob, etc. And if you were really looking to clear Mr. Ward then you could have looked into the fact that he came out before your post and said it was off the record, etc.

Your agenda vs the club is getting really annoying.

feck Sterling, feck Gaydy Ward and feck Sterling again for having such a fecking despicable agent.

But hitting back today, Aidy Ward (Sterling's agent)told the Standard he “didn’t care” about the club or its image, dismissed criticism by former players as “irrelevant” and branded Liverpool legend and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher “a knob”.

RAWK:

On their transfer negotiation strategy:
pedro is available for 7m. it'll go like this

Barca "7m please"
Ayre "5m"

Barca "7m please"
Ayre "5.25m"

Barca "what part of 7m do you not understand"
Ayre "two sugars please "

Barca "7m, actually wait what did you say?"
Ayre "how much is he again? and whats the spanish word for bike?"

Barca "sorry Ian, spurs are on theyve bid 7m, nice talking to you "
Ayre "oh well cant say i didnt try, im off to southampton so to bid 22m for Pelle"

Barca "you're not very good at this are you?"

Hope Carragher finds that twat and sparks him out, little shithouse who does he think he is

Oh, the irony:
He called Carragher a knob? Hope Carra sues the c*nt for slander. Utter twat.

I too think we should sell Sterling, its our meal ticket to get 2 more big players that the team needs. More would be on that bandwagon if we were actually good at signing good players.

It's all Hodgson's fault:
Its pretty telling he is Oxlade Chamberlain's agent. I have said it before and I will say it again, Liverpool players going to England camps always come back with bad notions. Prior to his England call up Sterling was all 'just happy to be in the team'. One full call up later and it's Billy big boots with Chamberlain's agent in toe.

Ipso facto, I blame Hodgson.

I don't think he's going to stay.

Stick him on finding Steve Finnan duty feck the reserves

Hodgson to blame again:

Have said this a million times this season. And yep - there's no doubt in my mind that a huge chunk of our problems this season stem back to the fact that so many of our players spent the close season with Hodgson (and with our fiercest rivals). A few is ok - but pretty much our entire midfield and attack (save Coutinho) were off with Hodgson... doing poorly, failing, getting bigged up, and getting season ending injuries. fecked

"Ask for sanchez in return"

Where does this sense of grandeur come from

 They couldn't attract Sanchez last season after finishing 2nd and with Champions League football secure. This season they're out of the top four, Suarez has long since gone, Sterling wants out and Sturridge has spent more time in physio room than on the pitch. But yeah, I'm sure Sanchez can't wait to go out to Rubin Kazan on a Thursday night.

Edit: @Earthquake ;) ^

Sanchez rejected them when they had CL football to offer, never mind now.

But they're going to "ask" for him now. Bayern must be pissing in their pants at the thought of them "asking" for Muller if they enquire about Sterling.

The funny thing about RAWK at the moment is that they all agree that Sterling is nowhere near the finished article and that he'll never develop into a quality player, in fact, he'll never even develop to the same level a Rooney a few posters said. But they all agree that he's worth over £50 million.

Just because they bought Andy Carrol for £30 million doesn't mean the rest of the world is as retarded.

Seriously, how ungrateful can you be to a club that gave you a chance at 17 and then 3 years later you`re acting like you`re running out of time.

No hint of irony, considering how he ended up at Liverpool in the first place.

Don't like the Scousers but this agents and salaries is killing football. Fine for the media driven premier league but the rest of football is just ruined by it.

I agree, but you know what it was like when they were only on a few quid a week. The pendulum has swung. The money is what's killing my interest in footy because of all the ancillary bullshit that it generates. But we'll never be able to go back to the days of only reading about this stuff in the redtop back pages.

I do remember and I do believe in fairer contracts because, relative to most people, their careers are shorter. However, the Bosman ruling never incorporated the agents properly. They should be codified and operate with a code of conduct. Hard trading is something we can all live with but buggering about during a contract's term and undermining the club's policy has to end. Given these players earn millions, a period of cooling down could work and be treated as the trading period at the end of contracts.

they have become the Simpsons of football. that scene with sideshow bob standing on the rakes, that's Liverpool football club

Ibe and Flanagan have signed new deals. That'll teach Sterling!
Flanagan coming off an injury. Ibe just started to get games regularly and hasn't made a name for himself yet. As for Sterling even Real Madrid are interested. Liverpool should have restructured his contract and given him more money after his first great season for that club.

I hope Flanagan comes back quickly, he is already one of the best fullbacks in the world. Any more time in the injury table and he will reach GOAT level.

PoP the cnut:
Seriously, if this place is going to go from discussing the merits of Sterling's agent, to his game intelligence, to FSG's policy, all the way down to who Rodgers is shacking up with and who does his teeth, then this place is no better than Red Cafe. Personal attacks on the manager's private life when he isn't doing anything unusual is not sensible debate.
