RAWK Goes into Meltdown 2014/2015 - The "We go again" Edition

I find it amazing how we've managed to win so much over the past 20 years with so many shit and overrated players. Conversely, how Liverpool have won so little with such an array of world class players.

Its such a mystery.

because of corrupt Whiskey nose who is also antichrist, corrupt FA and corrupt ref. Pfft

Didn't one of their mods create an account to talk to himself with or some embarrassing shit and was caught? They're beyond parody.

I love reading that again from time to time :D

Hmmm. Thanks for the correction. My slip up on the season dates there. I was meant to double check before posting, but was in a hurry. The conversation is fictional, but I've had many similar (for better and worse) conversations for 2 decades. The Leeds bit was completely made up, hence the error. The dialogue can be much better, so I will update with new (real) conversations from time to time.

 Still gold.

Liverpool 0:0 Sunderland
Reality dawn on rawk that they are not going anywhere... ... again? (Full time thread 0-0 Sunderland) :D

Shit c*nt team. What do you expect from a bunch of useless c*nts.

fecking 120 million wasted on some real shit.

Shit fecking tactics that can't string one pass together and has no idea what pressing means.
One of the worst games of football I've seen for some time. We're so average it hurts. Zero goals in the side and we effectively played without a striker today. No Borini on the bench Is daft. How Lambert got 90mins today I'll never know. So frustrating.
I didn't know what a 'false number 9' was until we signed Lambert.

The first guy got banned

Just chill out, accept were not going to be as good this season, have a bevvie and roll with the punches. Last season gave us so many amazing moments, I think people have forgotten it can never be always like that.

Yeah guys. We'll win feck all this season, but at least we have memories of winning feck all last season.

God they are so annoying. That Sterling dive was BLATANT but they are all like "fecking corrupt FA trying to keep us down", "the game is corrupt to try and get UTD back to the top" etc. Its like they say the same shit so much that they just believe it now. Its like they have blinkers on and just can't see reality.

You should be happy when you hear that stuff, as it means things are getting back to normal :D

To be fair their manager made quite clear Sterling is not a player that dives or goes down easily, he is adamant there was contact but not enough for a penalty, they are just following their manager's lead.

It seems this guy has his priorities messed up.
This is the Alternative Premier League.

Chel 3
City -4
S'ton -6
UTD -13
Ars -14
Liv -14
Spurs -16

Southampton & UTD still to play. We need UTD to lose. If they win we're in serious trouble after todays result

I like the way typing 'rawk' into Google produces a suggested search of 'rawk meltdown'.

Great stat
7 goals in 8 home games.

Southampton have scored more goals against Sunderland this season than Liverpool have scored at home.

Not RAWK but strong delusion
Liverpool have the distraction of a momentous fixture on Tuesday, and considering they had a tough outing against Leicester just 4 days ago, a team, don't forget, that had no problem slotting 5 past an admittedly hapless Man Utd, then another against a side determined not to capitulate in the same way they did to Citeh mid-week, then perhaps a hard earned point is not quite so bad as some are making out?

Such a wonderful child like quality to this post in the 'next five games' thread. Basically took two goals off last year and it seemed to work for the previous games, wonder what happens whe he projects forward.....

Re: How many points would you expect in the next 5 league games - 2014/15 edition

Given that we're scoring an average of about 1.5 goals less per match compared to last season, and our defense is performing at about the same level as last season, here is what our next 11 matches (all of which we won last season) look like with 2 goals subtracted from our score each match from last season's equivalent results:

For example, our next match is home against Stoke. Last season we won this match 1-0. Subtract 2 goals for -1-0, account for the minimum score of 0, and the prediction is a 0-0 draw.

Predict D Liverpool 0–0 Stoke City
Predict L Leicester City (Norwich City) 2–1 Liverpool
Predict L Liverpool 0–1 Sunderland
Predict W Manchester United 0–1 Liverpool
Predict W Liverpool 3–1 Arsenal
Predict L Burnley (Fulham) 2–1 Liverpool
Predict L Liverpool 2–3 Swansea City
Predict W Liverpool 3–1 Leicester City (Norwich City)
Predict D Sunderland 1–1 Liverpool
Predict D Aston Villa 0–0 Liverpool
Predict W Liverpool 2–1 West Ham United

So how did this predictive method perform against matches that have already happened? Not the actual final score, just W, L or D

Predict L Liverpool 0–1 Southampton (actual W 3-1) wrong
Predict L Manchester City 2–0 Liverpool (actual L 3-1) correct
Predict W Tottenham Hotspur 0–3 Liverpool (actual W 0-3) correct + score match!
Predict L Liverpool 0–2 Aston Villa (actual L 0-1) correct
Predict L West Ham United 1–0 Liverpool (actual L 3-1) correct
Predict W Liverpool 2–0 Everton (actual D 1-1) wrong
Predict W Liverpool 2–1 West Bromwich Albion (actual W 2-1) correct + score match!
Predict W QPR (Cardiff City) 3–4 Liverpool (actual W 2-3) correct
Predict D Liverpool 0–0 Hull City (actual D 0-0) correct + score match!
Predict L Newcastle United 2–0 Liverpool (actual L 1-0) correct
Predict L Liverpool 0–2 Chelsea (actual L 1-2) correct
Predict L Crystal Palace 3–1 Liverpool (actual L 3-1) correct + score match!

So, just subtracting 2 goals from our score from last season's equivalent result correctly predicted the WLD in 10 out of 12 matches, and correctly predicted the score in 4 out of 12.

It's so frustrating. We should be at least 10 points clear of these clowns now not after the next two games!

That is an utterly new level of psychosis. So many unanswered questions. How did he pick out the arbitrary number 2 out of thin air? What the feck is a -1-0?

Only on RAWK
