RAWK Goes into Meltdown 2014/2015 - The "We go again" Edition

And I'm sure any supporter who has spent a wad of his dole money to get out there to see the match will be delighted at the line-up....

Now now, they'll enjoy the trip to a top stadium.

Meant to include this in the previous just after the first Real game..

The irony
Did they think it was 'disrespectful' that Madrid didn't go and score another 4 goals? Wierd. Why bust a gut when you've already got the game won?

Some RAWKites will never forgive Brentan for this. Their deluded sense of pride has taken a right bollocking.

He's thrown the squad players to the wolves in a cowardly act of management. I remember when Liverpool went into big games looking to win them, not throw the towel in from the kick off and save their big players from humiliation.

Resting the captain and vice captain says it all - at the very least one of them has to play. We need leadership in a game like this more than ever before.

"It's because of this specific attitude that we're seeing here- "defiance"- that makes Rodgers a Liverpool manager for me."

Bang on, the lad. His defiance to cater to his fans and his clubs pride make him the perfect Liverpool manager.

Thing is Brentan knows that they still have a decent chance of getting through the group because it's a poor one if you ignore Madrid. He's throwing this game in the hope that they will win the remaining fixtures anyway. Can't see them getting much out of Chelsea on the weekend but you never know.

I'm sure Mourinho is shitting himself at the prospect of facing a fresh Balotelli this weekend..

Dont worry about the dole layabouts, what about the lads that got up off their asses and robbed+fenced stuff ?

If Pool get thumped then some of the fans will turn against Brentan. Imagine the laugh we will have if the get trashed tonight and Maureen owns them next weekend? This could be a brilliant week.

Real Madrid 1:0 Liverpool
Dis gon be good :D

Edit - Why is d-i-s asterisked out?!

Not sure we can laugh at much right now but aye I get your point.....

Liverpool fan

And here’s Rob Lavine: “The team selection seems clear enough to me. Rodgers has put the three best defensive midfielders - Lucas, Can and Allen - in together with the best defensive winger, Lallana, and the striker, Borini, most likely to put in a shift. Presumably, the plan is to try and hold them off until half time and then send on Sterling, Gerrard, Henderson, etc. to drive at them as they tire. It probably won’t work but it’s certainly not a case of putting out a B team.”

Sterling, Gerrard, Henderson, ETC to be subbed in after half time. You wanna tell him or should I?

Yeah, a decent chance too. A good win against Ludo and they'll likely just need a home draw against Basel.

Same as City - they could both go through with some shit total like 7 points.

Away at Ludogorets is not going to be easy, especially as they will need to go all out for the win.

Personally hope Liverpool get second rather than dropping in the Europa, as the (unlikely) danger of them winning it and getting CL, and us missing out by finishing in 4th would be too much to take.
