RAWK Goes into Meltdown 2014/2015 - The "We go again" Edition

One doesn't like to quote stuff out of context so we need to unleash the emboldening on this one.

It is not, watching a match, being at the ground, and generally, we all dream, support, get behind the side, but a football forum should have a space for critical analysis which means an objective take on how the team is performing. Personally, I'm still hopeful, maybe one more loss we can afford, but the title is still very much on. And even if it is not, the support will always be there that is just a given. Some posters seem to confuse a football forum with going the match. It is not, the two things are very different.

Geez, does anyone think that they catch Chelsea? It is absolute madness to even suggest that.

It would have been crazy suggesting that they'll win the league in the summer when they swapped Suarez with Southampton and Balotelli but now that they're playing like Stoke City and are 12 points behind the renties, it is batshit crazy.

More angry RAWK posts:

"We passed the ball well."
No we fecking didn't.

The same fat twats that reminded us how many points off fourth we were in Kenny's last season will be back to remind us how many points off fourth we are now and tell us to keep the faith etc while not realising how close it is and how likely we are to slide out AGAIN.

The thing is, we challenged last season and had it in our hands to win it, and should have won it. So, while it's great for some people to expect us to get 4th this season, I expected more. I wasn't thinking "4th will do me" at the start of this season. I was thinking another title challenge, as it's what we should be aspiring to be doing, rather than just settling for 4th spot. feck that. Realistically, we could now be struggling to get their now, and that's a sad reflection on how badly we've regressed from last season. Same old, same old Liverpool FC. We never fecking learn.

We are in a state of despair at the moment. The signings are awful, truly awful.

we could have 100% possession it don't mean feck all when you're toothless up front and don't look like scoring.

^ That's where Suarez comes in handy.

Then there's this little exchange:

top players aren't willing to come here, I was just pointing out that top players will go anywhere where they get a high wage

They want to win things too.

The won't win anything with Manchester United, but still they came..

...

I've been banned once so I'm afraid to be so again but....

...What was that ?

We were shite..?. FACT!

We looked devoid of ideas? FACT!

Is this disrespecting the team or players?
.. I hope so and I hope they read it!

Nothing I've said is wrong....

What do we do now? Buy half of Southampton come January?

That's quite funny in fairness.

Why do Liverpool fans constantly forget about his transfer request and then his subsequent 'changing of his mind' after thugs visited him? It's like they refuse to acknowledge this actually happened.

Edit: the part I'm quoting was the bit above this photo.

Balotelli for 16 million. Bought because it was a supposed 'good deal'. This signing is like heading to the shops for groceries, buying some brand new premium tyres because they were on special, only to get home and remember you don't own a fecking car. He's not good enough to lead the line alone.

Balopirelli

This has traction. They're managed by Brendunlop Rodgers, who last season took a tyre-d old institution and turned them into a Michelin-star outfit until Stevie G put on a fresh set of slicks and punctured their title challenge. Since then they've been Pirelli-sed by fear, but next year is guaranteed to be a Goodyear, despite no Continental football.

er... something something Bridgestone.

New (premium) tyres are no good when the wheels are coming off the car you haven't got. (or something).

''We are still favourites for fourth''

feck 4th, the title is still on. Over to Dr Steve Peters, unleash that inner champ.

If sturridge could stay fit once he's back, we'd have a good chance. So no, we won't finish in the top 4
.

I wonder if they realise that RAWK is a laughing stock amongst fans of all English clubs? Easy for them to dismiss ridicule from a United forum but far harder when it's fans of Sunderland and Arsenal saying it. I've even seen threads mocking them on other liverpool forums.
My brother is a Liverpool fan and he even hates the forum, its most Liverpool fans hate the site and are embarrassed by it.

Mate of mine who told me Brenton was the most tactically competent manager in the league last season is now saying Liverpool need to get Tony Pulis asap...
To be fair to him, Pulis does work wonders with relegation threatened teams!

This thread needs more quotes and less discussion.

We are very disorganised but the excuse is not enough time to prepare for games. So until we get knocked out of Europe/the league cup don't expect improvement because we won't be getting free midweeks.

So to qualify for Europe, they need to get knocked out of Europe.

Reminds me of the Bill and Ted joke about marrying your stepmother so you could become your own dad.

@ Just Dan

We are worried.

You are Liverpool.

WE.ARE.WORRIED.

So naive to think Suarez wasn't the reason they did as well as they did last year. Yes, the whole team played well, because they were full of confidence and a lot of them were playing to the best of their ability. They would have been much better off buying one or two real top players with that money and writing off their chances at doing well in the Champions League for one year (which hilariously, they have likely fecked it all up early on anyway), so that they can focus on solidifying a status as title contendors for long period. Instead they just brought in a load of crap for the sake of 'squad depth'. Players like Lallana would be great for depth, providing you actually had the world class talent to play around them. Rodgers and Liverpool fecked up big time.

Blimey, RodgersOut on Twitter is on fire. (He must be an embittered ex RAWK-er) <---- I'm saying that to justify the posting thereof, anyway,

Brendan Rodgers says that our strikers are scoring lots of goals in training. That's not surprising. They're playing against our defence

 brilliant.

Well well well

It looks like Liverpool's performances last season were down to Suarez and not the master tactician Rodgers after all.

Comedy gold! Quite possibly the worst analogy ever.
