RAWK Goes into Meltdown 2014/2015 - The "We go again" Edition

He'll have to go to Oz or the States, he won't make it at a big club now and no one else will pay his wages.

Would be pretty funny to see Gerrard at some midtable club though, oh wait he already is

I'm not too sure there will be to much rage if Rodgers decides to let him go. They won't begrudge him a winners medal in such a scenario.

I won't mind us signing Stevie Me as a backup to the first team, much like Michael Owen' role with us.

Imagine the meltdown there if he were to win his only PL title of his career with us.:D

Not just on RAWK, king Kenny, Phil Thomspon, Jamie Redknapp, Jamie Carragher would be seething.

A January move to Chelsea and he'll finally get his PL winners medal.

Even if he had wanted to do this in his prime, I dont think think Roman is the kind of guy to give you the opportunity to say no to him twice, especially not after dicking him around the first time.

Johnno strikes again.. About LVG.

Let's get Brucey Johnno, you twat

I really don't have any time for journos spewling out anyone's past glories. Say it like it is NOW or keep your fecking gobs shut!

Despite puking out loads of millions to date, he's made very little impact based on what the end product has been. I am not particularly impressed so far and I don't expect to be particularly impressed throughout this season. Unless he shapes himself in January and gets some backbone into the side and goes on a crazy unbeaten run as a result. I am NOT going to hold my breath for that either!

We should sign Stevie me on free, win PL title next season and let him be on one game short of PL medal...

They're definitely not allowed individual player threads are they?

Topic: Gerrard - quoted as 'Gerrard open to move from Liverpool'

Some of them may reckon he's had a good run, time to move on etc.

But, it's just Stevie putting it 'out there' that it's renewal time and hoping the club get moving on it.

If he does leave he'll more than likely end up in the MLS for a final big payday.

It's what Rio should have done, can't think why he went to QPR.

His wife wanted to be in london.

re gerrard, the best thing for liverpool is to let him go and replace him asap before he weighs them down too much with his wage and presence on the bench.

Hes well past his sell by date

Gerrard still has a lot to offer. His fall from grace is being massively exaggerated by the decision to use him as a DM. Despite the fact that asides from the occasional tracking back and tough tackle, he doesn't have a single ounce of defensive nous about him. If used rightly he can still be a decent asset for them.

He's hardly a play maker either, and he hasn't got the legs to play box to box any more.

He's still a decent passer, something which is often underrated. He's dangerous in the opponent's third still. Even whilst regressing I think he has more to offer as an AM than a DM. I'd play Sterling or Coutinho over him as a starter in that position though.

He isn't an underrated passer at all, and his read of the game is terrible to be able to dictate play.

Missed opportunity for him to get his ferdy5 or whatever it's called brand launched in the states

MLS has a wage cap.

I think I read somewhere that Henry was still earning close to $100k a week, I suppose it'd be a downgrade for Gerrard but it's still more than he'd earn elsewhere unless he went to one of the Middle eastern clubs or Russia.

If you are going to lie RAWK atleast try to give us some of that famous scouse humour........
