RAWK Goes Into Meltdown | 2013/14

Is it wrong that I'm enjoying it? the entire footballing world told them that he was a bellend but they were having none of it. That's what you get like..

Not wrong at all. I am loving it. Torres leaving was great, this is going to be on another level entirely

Yet more insight into Brendan's tactical noose. Sorry - nous:

Brendan Rodgers 'death by football' Phase 2.0:

I had to check the link to see if it's not one of Steve's parody posts. But apparently it's genuine...

It also means that Steve should retire from making comedy posts in the RAWK thread. You just can't compete with the real thing mate - nobody can.

From Rawk.

What pisses me off the most is that Arsenal really did it officially. I dont care if its just an act for their supporters or Real but I am kind of annoyed.... We should throw crazy bids at their players and leak it to the press... 5m for Walcott the walnut, 8m for Carzola and such
wink.gif

Anyway we should not consider selling him to a team in the PL (maybe if its something like 10m + Luiz + Mata)but otherwise hell no.
I know it would contradict everything that Suarez said or apparently has said - so I am ruling out the possibility of him playing for one of our rivals - although footballer are not the brightest.

Anyway we should do what Leverkusen die to Vidal and tell him the only option is abroad if he is serious about leaving - and if he leaves then as quickly as possible because we need replacements or additions..

And feck off Arsenal. Can see them finishing 6th this season behind Tottenham...

I laugh at posts like these, where they value Suarez at "at least 50 million pounds", but then I take a look at their squad, and they are really fecked if Suarez ditches them. They'd struggle to finish above Everton again if Suarez leaves. Think about it, and imagine if Madeupteam in the amateur league had Rooney playing for them with team mates who don't know how to even a kick a ball, that team would also demand "at least 50 million", however ludicrous it may sound.

The highlight of that post is the last sentence..."can see Arsenal finishing 6th behind Spurs..."

Golly, I wonder who he has in mind for that "4th" spot?? (knowing he's from RAWK he probably has us down for 4th )

Or better yet, knowing Rawk, it's them. City and Chelsea for 1st and 2nd. Spurs for 3rd. That shower of shite at fourth. "Those cheating mancs" at 5th and Arsenal 6th.

It's Rawk, you never know.

Absolutely

I love their "hope" (read delusion), at the start of every season.

Guy that posted that is actually probably the best poster on RAWK and coaches/has coached at quite a high level too apparently.

Just saying.

But it's not really rocket science he's writing about is it? I'm told stuff like that before my games but my coach doesn't need a fecking compass to get his message across.

He's awesome at the moyes thread.

United will fail because they have a new coach who will change things; City will succeed because they have a new coach. He knows some stuff but that does not prevent you from being an utter moron. See US supreme court justice Antonin Scalia.

True, just pointing out that it's not a whole load of made up rubbish.

He doesn't say you'll completely fail, though. Just that there'll be a notable drop-off from Ferguson standards.

Which tells you everything you need to know about RAWK, basically.

The insight he offers is quite interesting. From an LFC perspective anyway.

He knows a lot of things to be fair and seems a very knowledgeable poster, but for me he is a very agenda poster. He made such a big deal that Moyes named Neville and Giggs as coaches and reading his posts someone would think that replacing the coaches is actually a bigger replace than replacing the best manager ever.

Silvio Berlusconi has managed at quite a high level. He's managed the running of a nation.

He's still an absolute cocktwat though.

Exactly. I'm sure he'll praise Liverpool if they appoint Carragher as coach saying it brings continuity and shit.

Have to remember who he supports :)

He should read The Damned United and see how important it is to get the dressing room on the side of the manager. What better way to guarantee that than to have a couple of club legends involved in the coaching set up especially Giggs as he can now be the conduit between the players and Moyes. It's pretty basic stuff and anyone with some football knowledge will be aware of that. Surely he doesn't think United are now going to revert to coaching sessions from the dark ages just because a few of them are a little inexperienced??

PhaseOfPlay is a moron. I doubt he has coached anywhere in his life.

I actually quite like the way it switches between the beginning of his career and the end of it chapter by chapter although some of repetition is a little annoying.

I found the repetition infuriating. Every other sentence is "down the corridor, around the corner" or whatever the feck it says. I swear the book could have been reduced to about fifteen pages if it weren't for all that bollocks.

It's football's version of Beyond Belief. Marmite stuff.

Anyway, Peace has a book on Shankly coming out, apparently.

I agree. The repetition stinks of an attempt at something which he should've known wouldn't work. Apart from that, though, I thought it was pretty good. As far as football books (well, it's not really a football book, but still) go it's very good, even.

If you guys want a good laugh have a watch of some of the Dalglish press conferences. Especially the Suarez ones, absolutely hilarious how it looks as though he's not got a clue how to handle the media in modern footbal. Proper dinosaur.

A dipper's just been on talkshite saying Sturridge will soon be a better player than Suarez. They really are deluded.
