Is it time for a girlfriend analogy, yet?
Suarez is the playboy bf, who gets caught cheating buy his missus. She forgives him and supports him.
Her mates say he's no good, she backs him to the hilt.
He goes out drinking, on a bender, all weekend, doesn't even contact her. She forgives him.
He thinks this is great. "I can get away with murder. I love this bird, she's a dirty bint and I can do what I want."
He has a go at her and her mates, in front of everyone, at a party embarrassing the hell out them. Her mates tell her to get rid.
She backs him again.
He thinks "Actually, this bird is a bit mental, far too clingy, a bit of a bunny boiler. I gotta get out of here"
He phones up her mate and asks for a feck. The mate does the right thing and tells the missus and asks nicely if she can have a go of her bf.
Bird gets hysterical, becomes even more determined to keep her man.
Luis is fecked. Has to go to the law and get a restraining order.
LFC don't do girlfriends but if they did....stay well clear, they'd most likely be fecking nuts.

Sir Alex leaked his clause to Arsenal, and he is the one pushing the deal through. If his magical powers don't work, the FA are going to intervene and demand Liverpool let the move go through or give them a 100 point deduction. However, even with that, they'll win the league at a canter.

In a 4-5-1 with Essien behind them? You really should be. Chelsea would have been devastating.
Essien would have been the only disciplined one of them. The other two would be out of position non-stop, which wouldn't help deal with Ronaldo, Rooney, and Tevez on the counter.
Considering how disciplined Lampard has been recently, I would question the England manager and mentality at the time in not making the two of them work. Plus Mourinho's mentality would help too. Top class players find a way to play together

I'd wager that signing Gerrard would have seen them forego Essien, retain Thiago, and Essien probably ends up with United or perhaps Real. Things probably just stay the same. With Gerrard they may not have signed Ballack either.
