RAWK Goes Into Meltdown | 2013/14

The dialogue thing is a spoof of an Office episode where David Brent gets a promotion but fails because of blood pressure (which he claims he heightened to fail it voluntarily).

Cheers I was lost there, thought it was another cringe worthy rumor we were trying to start like the ****** thing.

Is the last line a mistake or was he meant to ask himself a question?

A few reactions on RAWK:

Kin el Ayre, it's LALLANA.

So Lallana was just a smoke screen eh.
Finding this hard to believe.

I feel as though I've just woken up in 2010 and Hodgson has just signed a new long term deal.

So much for attracting better players now were in the CL.

I hope we sign Lambert and Lallana, even if it's just so I can get my username changed to Super Lambolallana.

And by the way, is this true?:
Bristol Rovers are due 25% of any Lambert sale.

Whats wrong with Southampton?

Such a weird way to view this signing. It's not just a Liverpool fan thing either.

They already have Suarez and Sturridge upfront. Their strongest area is their strikeforce.
Who are they expecting? Benzema or Cavani?

They're being linked with Moreno too. This idea that the minute a team gets Champions League football they should, or will sign superstars galore is just weird. You can only field 11 players at any one time.

Rickie Lambert - Fee agreed, medical on Saturday
Locked so people can calm down.

Sheesh. I wish I could get so excited about Rickie Lambert...

They seem to lock threads for weird reasons... An earlier Lambert thread seemed to be locked because of no reliable sources, even though SSN were reporting it at the time
They lock a lot of threads. Usually on transfer forum half of threads are locked. Also, they have threads there when you can't post things that aren't backed from reliable sources. They also lock threads on other forums (for example the believe or whatever it was called the thread on the last week on EPL, got locked when Newcastle and City scored).

And finally, they lock threads that have managed to survive.

tried to lock a few Red Cafe threads one time.

Probably.

On the face of it that would imply a well modded forum. But it's still a place where death could be freely wished on Ferguson, and where they printed tickets from the 2007 CL final so they could be copied (and helped cause a load of trouble outside the ground in Athens). I was always surprised they got away with the latter without any kind of legal investigation.

What?! There's no way this actually happened!

Not really. A well modded forum wouldn't require such absurd levels of censorship. When you basically aren't allowed to post in the majority of threads, the mods and admins are obviously doing a pretty shite job.

It absolutely did. It was all written in terms of "Just in case any of you are worried about getting forged tickets I'm going to show full size colour photographs of a real CL final ticket so you can be sure the one you buy is real, nudge nudge, wink wink".
And guess what, there were 5000 forged tickets in circulation in Athens...

"We had an overcrowded Liverpool end when there probably was a few thousand people who should not have been there," Gaillard said.

I probably have it bookmarked somewhere, I'll need to check.

It is really censored and very unfriendly forum. I called Arsenal retarded one time there (Arsenal the club, which in the end isn't a person) and a lot of people criticized me for using that word and asked me to don't use it because there might be people who take offense because they might have a person on their family who has a low coefficient of intelligence. Compare that to Caf which is like a place when friends are talking with each other.

Then the locking the thread problem which I mentioned. They basically lock anything contraversial or anything that make generate a non-standard debate, or any transfer thread that is based on speculation, or any thread when the fans are moaning for the club, the result or they not doing well on transfer market. Then on transfer threads you aren't allowed (if I am not mistaken) to post ITK news, so from twitter you can post only tweets from player, his agent or the club.

redcafe went into meltdown thread got locked immediately because they aren't obssesed with us. Ironically, the Moyes thread was one of the biggest threads ever there, and likely the biggest non-Liverpool thread with more than a thousand pages (bigger than it's counterpart on Caf).

Nice use of a meme from about a year ago. Are you going to post a link to your Haarlem Shake video you recorded yesterday too?

@nahealai

I found the thread: http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=177264.0

SO as I said, full pictures of the tickets were printed in RAWK on the pretence of avoiding forgeries. But :

you know, with a high end printer and the right paper stock you could make decent forgeries from them pictures.cheers.

And there was no fear about the safety risks of having LFC fans in the stadium with fakes:

To be honest, I couldn't give a flying one if someone gets in on a fake.

In actual fact, I hope that many do, as it pokes a finger in the eye of UEFA for their hand in the till money grabbing shambles.

But as we saw, having thousands of LFC fans in the stadium with fake tickets caused a lot of trouble...

You would think out of all clubs they wouldn't try and bunk in and get blag tickets which would naturally lead to over crowding.

That would require the ability for logical rational thought and the realisation that something is not automatically right purely because it is you saying or doing it, all things that can not be done by red scousers

That's entirely because you're a manc and for no other reason tbh. They used to have a poster on there, BigDAVALAD or something like that, who would make the most incredibly crass posts about Hiroshima and Asians in general, saying the atomic bombs weren't enough, saying more should have been killed, etc, etc.

It was just brushed over by their mods because he had a high post count or was a mod at one point or something. Crazy website. Remember when one of their mods had an alternate account that he talked to himself on? Pheeny or something like that.
